The place is more like a hostel than a hotel . Yes i understand it?s a budget hotel but premier inn offer similar prices and their rooms are far better.Could do with a serious update , bigger tvsOur bed was Broken .Rubbish everywhere outside and still not not cleared up. Smell on cannabis and stupid boy racers! Got particularly no sleep on weekend!Room hot can?t have window open because of noise and resulted in me having to buy a fan . Will not stay here again. Dingy , filthy , noisy

This is an old Travel Lodge based in one of the darkest areas I have ever known. The rooms are clean and you have your normal amenities. The Shell garage is well stocked. The Burger King and Subway are ok. all feels in need of a refurb to be honest.

Basic but clean. One star deducted for a broken room window which let in both a draft and traffic noise. Would otherwise rank three stars for being precisely what you would expect from a Travelodge.Rooms: Basic but functional and clean. My room had a broken window hinge letting in a draft and road noise.Walkability: There are fast food outlets all within easy reach of the hotel however be mindful. There are no footpaths forcing pedestrians to walk in the service road for the petrol station.Food & drinks: No attached restaurant here. Fast food and a petrol station nearby.

Clean spacious and inexpensive.A little dated but tbh it does exactly what is needed at a very sensible price.Close to McD and BK and beside Shell services so stuff available but expensive (think service station uplift)Very large electrical pylon for high voltage line beside the car park no issue for me but if that worries you maybe book somewhere else.

Room was alright but could have been better, good service location wasn't great for getting into the city centre or uea will require taxis or park & rideFood & drinks: Food & drink facilities near by

We stayed here with our two dogs for one night ? it was supposed to be for two. We were told in the morning that we were not allowed to leave our dogs unattended in the hotel room. We were going to a funeral, so would have to. They said if we did that they would call rspca on us. We left and they refused to refund us for the second night. The worst customer experience ever, and we will never be stayed with travelodge again. Do not stay here if you have dogs. Not sure what the £40 dog charge is for.

We booked a room with a double bed. On arrival my partner was in agony with a bad hip and sciatica. To enable her to have a comfortable nights sleep the ladies in reception changed our room at no cost to a room with an extra bed. Really good of them.

I booked in advance and paid for three nights in Travelodge Cringleford. Hayden rang at about 7pm on day 1 to ask when I'd be arriving - I responded '11pm' and he replied that was fine. I arrived at exactly that time to find I had no room: Hayden (yes, the same fellow) said they overbook as a matter of policy 'To allow for no-shows' and when that happens it's first come first served. He also said guests arriving to find they had no room in that Travelodge happens 'Several times a month'. I asked why he hadn't rung me to tell me, having called me earlier to confirm the booking, he told me he'd been busy 'Doing jobs'. As a (regular) Travelodge customer, I now I know my place in their business plan, and it's not pretty. So, if you're expecting a room when you turn up at Travelodge Cringleford for a pre-paid, confirmed booking you, like me, have potential to be sadly mistaken.
