Beautiful venue, with good views, a big car park, and good lighting inside. I found the bar staff friendly and the food was nice, this is certainly a good place to hire if you are looking for somewhere to hire for a private function.

Lovely meal, very reasonable price and good service. The freshly cooked carvery was delicious and the turkey was moist!!! I was so surprised at how brilliant the food was (especially as it was absolutely packed) and we were sat at our table almost immediately. I will be going back regularly! ??

Had a meal here with my family. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the owners are very welcoming. The T-bone steak and seafood tagliatelle are exemplary.

Strange pub turns paying customers away because they can?t be bothered to train there dogs. If you have a dog don?t go here . You can?t even sit in the garden. . Not many pubs in Britain you can?t take a dog in . Only this one you can?t sit out side with dog either! Astonishing. !! Dog training costs about the same amount as I would have spent there that day!

Had an excellent Sunday lunch with family, will definately be going back. We hadn't been to Jolly Farmers for ages but was pleased to find that the food was just as good as we remembered it.

We had a warm welcome in the evening. A great pint at the bar and fine fish and chips. The service was excellent.

If I could give zero stars I would. How this place makes any money baffles me, the landlady was argumentive and rude throughout my visit there. Witnessed her arguing with numerous customers such a shame that a pub with so much potential is run by a bulldog of a landlady ?

I literally can?t rate this pub low enough!!! The pub it self has so much potential but is let down mainly by the rude land lady and the service we received. As well as this, they haven?t got any stock of beers or bar food. It?s very safe to say I wont ever be going back here even though I live in the village and it?s our only pub. Shows how bad it is, doesn?t it!? I can not believe this has not closed down before now.

Landlady absolutely disgusted with her behaviour towards people,I asked for toilet paper as none in one of the toilets,I'll get it in a while she answered,went back to toilets a while later,no toilet paper in either of them,so went and asked again,were she replied you can use the other toilet you know in a nasty voice,to were she gave me the paper to put in myself no apology,then she had insulted 3 members of public,her attitude stinks and should never be front of house,the only good thing is that her husband is an amazing chef and the food was lovely

Such a shame the staff are so incredibly rude as the location and pub has so much potential. I can?t say I?d be inclined to visit again. If you don?t like working with the public then change careers.

Horrific Landlady! Argumentative, rude and darn right a nasty person. Don?t take card payments no matter the price accumulated. The service received was not welcome from minute one. WILL NOT visit again!! AVOID!!!!!
