“Not a Nationwide customer but my late mother was, and after an absolutely awful few weeks trying to get someone at NW's central 'bereavement support' to just talk to me sympathetically and helpfully, like a fellow human being, after I had suffered a bereavement and a personal cancer diagnosis on the same day, went into the Wymondham branch to sort out a funeral bill. Was met by Kirsty, who by contrast could not have been more smiley, patient, sympathetic and helpful and sorted every detail out for me right there and then. Very grateful to her for the rapid, on-the-spot service and for the human warmth , both of which I have started to despair of ever encountering from NW's central service.”
