Literally the most disappointing in-person banking experience ive ever witnessed. Took me 4 weeks, 4 in-person visits to the branch for them to be able to open a bank account for me. A simple task such as opening a bank account and getting a bank card should be very clear-cut and routine for the staff at the bank, but apparently not.\\nI am absolutely appalled and I hope I never have to deal with this bank branch again.

The service at this branch is truly shocking. I waited for 45 minutes to be seen despite being told of a 14 minute wait.\\nEveryone seems to take their time strolling around and avoiding talking to you. It?s inexcusable to waste people?s valuable time like this. The people are nice people but the service efficiency is just shocking.

Horrible customer service. The agents keep putting us on hold and/or transferring us to another colleague then to another one. No one is willing to do their job and they are shamelessly using Covid as an excuse to be shockingly lazy and useless. Worst bank ever. Avoid at all cost!

HSBC is making it really enticing to just switch to an online only bank. The opening hours just get worse and worse, making it nearly impossible to use in person services. With the shortened days (10-4) and the removal of Saturday hours completely, how is a working person reasonably expected to use in branch services? It effectively requires me to take off of work now - at that point, why not just use an online bank like Monzo? Their mobile banking services are certainly better than HSBCs antiquated system.

Opened account, went in to enable online banking. Was kept waiting for ages. Phone lines sorted out the Internet banking, but it failed due to system errors. Closed account after a week. Useless, banking should not be as hard as this.

Have just turned up (on Saturday) at 2.05pm only to find it had closed at 2pm.Disgraceful..all the other banks are open!

Very bad experience, they refuse me a bank account today cuz I am EU citizen got valid ID, but the letter from the NI office was not enought to prove that I can work and live in the UK
I AM A GOOD CHEEF AND I WILL LIVE AND MAYBE OPEN MY OWN RESTAURANT IN HARROGATE
BUT NEVER WILL WORK WITH THIS BANK
YOU MAY LOOSE A GOOD COSTUMER
