I?m generally not a fan of supermarket breakfasts, but the one I had in Sainsbury?s in Harrogate was quite alright without being particularly memorable. It was substantial with two sausages, two rashers of rather insipid bacon, hash brown, mushroom, beans, tomato, fried egg and a slice of toast. I added a mug of tea and the whole lot came to a very respectable £6.80, which represents excellent value. Service was quick and friendly, and the only downside was that the food simply didn?t have that ?piping hot straight from the pan? feel. It did the job, but does it leave you smacking your lips and looking forward to coming back for more? Not really.

We visit the store regularly and have always liked the look of the in store cafe. As such we decided to pop in for lunch last week and were not disappointed. Not only was the food enjoyable but the staff were very polite and attentive.

Sometimes slowly served, but fairly good value we usually get the regular latte priced at £2.40,which is big enough, but if you pay 30p more you get large which is huge and to eat we have the fruit cake slice with butter very tasty.

I tried to purchase some Sony headphones which were on offer for a greatly reduced price. At the till they showed as full price. One of the assistants asked someone to help, who stated the price shown was wrong and I needed to pay full price. She was rude and unhelpful, despite the fact I remained polite and had done nothing wrong. Disappointing Sainsburys!! Your customer service leaves an awful lot to be desired. I will be taking my custom elsewhere!

My daughter in law was shopping in sainsburys, Harrogate today when her ten week old twin son needed feeding. Staff would not allow her to sit in the "closed" restaurant to breast feed him. She ended up having to walk around the store feeding him. Disgraceful Sainsburys!!

Presented a £20 Clydesdale Bank note and was told it wasn't legal tender , but their machine checkout accepts them as LEGAL TENDER they didn't have an acceptable answer other than at one time they had a lot of fakes with this bank, even though all notes are all polymer now, the idiot in charge at the top of Sainsbury Harrogate seems to have tunnel vision, I suggest all Scots in the area flood this store with Clydesdale notes, the bank belongs to Virgin Money owned by an ENGLISHMAN I wonder if Richard Branson is aware of this discrimination

Sainsburys have boldly removed one of their two cash points and reduced the number of self checkout stations that accept cash......brave since the nearby better and cheaper Morrisons has done none of these things....

Thank goodness I only live down the road from Sainsbury's and can indulge in their cafe on a regular basis! They really do good coffee, and the best toasted tea cake around. There are of course, other things on their menu, but I don't experience these. It is a good place to relax, with plenty of room for wheelchairs, and various daily papers are available to read. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

Big store with good selection of clothing etc. Ample parking. We called in for a quick cuppa in the cafe which was a good size. The store was what you would expect of a Sainsburys.
