Quite good, but smaller and noisier than I expected. Most of the noise was from groups of women, but it was still enjoyable. The main benefit is the hot air, it did feel good but similar benefit could be had from a large sauna. If you have a good sauna facility nearby then that's probably better for very regular visits. Although the fact that it's a historical building adds interest. The weekday price of £25 is fine but £35 for weekend and Fridays definitely seems too much, £30 would be better. I would come again on a weekday but not too often.

I visited the baths for the first time and was by myself. I did enjoy it but wished the layout and bathing sequence was briefly explained beforehand. I spent the first 30 minutes confused, reading instructions not knowing what I was doing and not feeling very relaxed. However going with the flow and asking other visitors, I soon relaxed and enjoyed the experience and the architecture. Definitely worth visiting while in Harrogate. They also really need to fix the squeaky steam room door hinge. It echos throughout the baths and is constant.

Friday early evening 2hr slot, nicely busy not crowded at all. Friendly helpful staff. All you need is swimwear, towels provided. If you can brave the plunge pool - the advice is, it maximises the detox from heat to cold & back to heat again in the spa rooms, a gentler heat than a sauna. Note shower areas are public as part of the spa and there is no separate 'swim' pool. Love it here and will return.

Like stepping back in time to the Victorian era. sooo relaxing, fabulous interior, very helpful & friendly staff & the most relaxing all round experience.Harrogate Turkish baths is the most fully Historically complete & in full working order baths in the UK. The interior has Italian Mosaic floors, beautifully elaborate painted ceilings, islamic arches with Moorish design, lots of polished hardwood decor & highly polished wooden sunlounger style beds.On arrival there is a lovely coffee shop & gift shop. You?re given 2 large fluffy white towels & a mini tour of the facilities with helpful information. You can also book relaxing treatments but we didn?t this time. If you book treatments you have access to a jacuzzi room too.Lots of lockers are provided free of charge & There?s a lovely relaxing area with lots of wooden sunlounger style beds for quiet & calm times.there are 3 heated rooms to make your way through, each is curtained off (the difference in temperature is amazing). you spend a short period of time in each room with a cooling shower or a dip/swim in the plunge pool (the water reflects the outside temperature!!!!!) before going into the next curtained room. There is a water station to keep hydrated, hot & COLD showers & a steam room too. They also provide hair dryers in the changing area. When booking check whether it?s a mixed session as they do also hold female & male only sessions.2 hours of relaxing bliss, thankyou Harrogate Turkish Baths, we?ll be back.

Visited here for my hubby's birthday and we loved it. You can really feel you are experiencing the atmosphere of the beautiful historical architecture. The staff are lovely and welcoming, and each part of the experience was thoroughly enjoyable...even the cold plunge pool which made you feel exhilarated. Would definitely recommend a visit.

There is a frigidarium, a calidarium, and a sauna with showers scattered everywhere. Nice experience. Would be better if they went above and beyond like they do in Rome (ex: offer tea or water, sandals, a robe?)

This was a real treat to help celebrate a birthday whilst in Harrogate. The online booking process was simple and the price is reasonable for the time you are able to spend ther (1.5-2 hours) and the facilities offered. The interior is stunning and remarkably well preserved considering there is so much wood exposed to constant moisture and heat. It's a fairly compact space but there is plenty of room to enjoy the three different heated rooms, cold plunge pool and steam room along with ample showers. Importantly, the place was spotless and staff were constantly on hand to clear used towels (two of which are provided per person, on arrival). Lockers are available free of charge and there are hairdryers and mirrors to use once you have finished. We all left feeling refreshed and relaxed and our skin was noticeably plumped and rejuvenated!

One of the best thing you can try when you visit Harrogate.

I recently visited the Turkish Baths in Harrogate and had an enjoyable visit. It?s steeped in history, opening back in 1897, and it remains relatively unchanged to this day. After checking in with the reception team, we were given towels and then got changed. You are given lockers to store your belongings, but there was a frustrating amount of broken lockers that did make storing your belongings more inconvenient than it should have been. The main experience focuses around 3 rooms that increase in heat intensity. The first being mild, then the following 2 becoming much warmer. After you spend the time in the hot rooms, you?re then cool yourself in the plunge pool or with a cold shower.I did enjoy spending an hour, going through the different levels of heat and then cooling down in the plunge pool. It?s certainly a shock to the system with the sudden cold of the pool, but I genuinely left feeling very relaxed. There was also an aromatherapy steam room which was nice too.Overall, I did enjoy my visit, and I did find it relaxing. It was also fascinating from a historical aspect too. However, I feel for the price that?s being charged, there were a few maintenance issues that need to be remedied such as broken lockers, showers and a few areas needed repainting. I felt that it was a premium price being charged, and it did fall a little below my expectations due to these reasons.

Relaxing couple if hours at the spa. Lovely environment. Interesting to learn about treatments given years ago.Nice coffee / hot chocolate there afterwards too.Book your slot as they do limit the number of guests entering which makes the experience more enjoyable

It's OK, nothing special. Building is grand to look at inside. You get a tiny sauna, a small freezing cold pool and then there's a massive room which just gets warmer. Feels very crammed in. Staff were loud and impersonable. Felt a bit weird being nearly in your birthday suit and to have them hanging around, having a loud chat.I had a massage. That was good. Have you seen 'Scrooged' where he goes into the future? The upstairs room is like that. That part was good though.Maybe go here if you get it as a gift?

Not good value for money, some suggestions to improve:- Stop overselling tickets- Offer more direction/explanation on how to use the facilities. There was oil etc available for use but not clear if it was cleaning the floor or for self treatment?- Provide towel racks- Assign a specific seat in the relaxation area to each customer
