This review is solely for Kate, the Manager on duty. We had placed an order using the machines in store on Friday but had not had any confirmation by email or a reservation number. On Friday we asked in store, asked the actual ?store manager? when we would get something, only to be blown off with a ?it?s a new system? answer. By Monday night, still nothing. We went back to the store and an associate pretty much gave us an ?I don?t know? response. Then, in swept Super-Kate! She overheard and took over. She found our order VERY quickly by working back from the item we had ordered, and before we knew it, she pulled it from the orders and we were done. Quick and painless. I couldn?t have been more grateful. Promote Kate. She deserves it for her customer focused attitude, problem solving skills, can-do approach, and smiley, bubbly demeanor!

Appalling customer service and discrimination against neurodivergent people!! Based on previous reviews, seems like manager is not a favourite amongst many and some staff are miserable. My husband is still very upset! He tried to refund an item on the 17/2/24 but was refused by manager so he followed instructions to bring back the original cover/case of headset. The issue is not being refused the refund, it was the way he was spoken to/ treated when he returned. He said the staff was talking too fast so he told them to slow down as he is autistic but whoever it was proceeded to talk louder in front of other customers?! He felt humiliated and noticed the staff were smirking and talking about him as he was leaving. He has reported it to head office, so Argos hopefully retrains or sacks these people who hate their jobs. I work in retail and even though it is busy with many customers, I would never treat people with non visible disabilities like that! They probably need to Google what neurodivergence even means hah.

Bought a Lego switch game as part of a pack. Would not return it due to the game not having wrapping on it. The game was in a box with a case so it would not have. I asked them to open on on shelf to check and they refused. Then they told me to contact Argos online. They said it could not be returned as it is a digital download but that is not mention in the returns policy. They agreed that is was not but still would not accept any responsibility so just kept the money and now we have a game that is useless. Really need to looks at returns policy on the website as it does not line up with what is in the product description. The code never worked so I think it was probably a return from before that someone used.

Amazing service at this Argos. Served by a young guy (didn't get his name) but made the whole process really simple and accessable. Would absolutely go back. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

So today on Wednesday 28th December I called Sainsbury's so I could get through and talk too a person in Argos as I wanted too know if a blue duvet with PlayStation logos could be sent tooYork from Ripon but no it could not and if your lucky enough too live in Ripon then it would be nice and easy but if you do not and none of these duvets are available with PlayStation logos in our area ie then you cannot purchase it.

Arrived at the Argos today within Sainsbury?s this morning 28/06/22 and was greeted by the most unhelpful, miserable young lady I have ever had to deal with - infact I wasn?t greeted, I had to seek her help. All I wanted was a bit of help with ordering something and the customer service I received from her was abysmal. How she got the job at Argos to start with I do not know, it?s probably not a career for her but it doesn?t hurt to be kind to customers or even crack a smile every now and again. I work in the retail industry and this is absolutely NOT how you speak to/treat customers. Retraining is maybe needed, we all have off days, I?m also having some recently but when it comes to work you have to put your customer service face on. Unhelpful and will never step foot in the store again.
