Saw the sign for the Dawnay Arms on the A64 on way back from visiting a local golf shop with my husband. Decided to give it a try, what a gem the food was excellent, fantastic menu choice. Dropped in on the off chance of some supper as I hadn't booked. Terrific food and speedy service, topped of with a cracking pint of Theakstons.

Wow, what a little gem! We booked this last minute for 2 and our dog, and we were blown away. The food was incredible, proper pub grub, a proper portion size!
