I have visited on a number of occasions. This time we had dinner in The Orchid restaurant. We went for a drink in the bar at Fletchers Restaurant first which was lovely but completely empty. The best hotel I have stayed in ! Starting from the beautiful drive , the warm welcome to my luggage being in my room before I was. Decided to stay for 2 nights as I thought it wasn’t really worth staying just for one as you’d be be checking in mid afternoon and checking out mid morning and wouldn’t really see much of the place. However you are allowed to arrive early and use the spa/gym so you could maximise your stay with just a one night stop...
