Hair Salons in Northallerton, North Yorkshire

“I have mixed views of this salon. From the outside, it looks quite rundown and drab. It doesn't help that the car park is small, has overgrown trees/shrubbery and a terrible road surface. But hey let's face it a lot of town centre salons don't have car parks at all!Having only been twice I can therefore only give a limited review. My first visit should have put me off altogether and would have a few years ago but I think I'm mellowing as I get older and believe that everyone deserves a second chance.Both visits were for blow-dry appointments because I wouldn't entrust any stylist first off with anything more than that, would you? ? Laura was the stylist I was booked in with the 2nd time and it's down to her that I wouldn't hesitate to return. Her professionalism and knowledge was excellent. I walked out of the salon on a grey, miserable day, feeling on top of the world because she'd listened to me and how I would like my hair to look!Unfortunately I haven't been able to make another appointment with her since, either because of her hours, holidays, my commitments etc. Whatever, I will book again but it will have to be well in advance clearly.Please make the reception area more welcoming either when clients enter or when they leave. For new, potential future clients, it would be ever so nice to know that we were having our coats taken, a gown given and maybe even fastened for us or ask us to fasten it. Not all gowns are made the same! Then direct us, like we are children, because we've never been before, to where we're going and why and what for and with whom (your Wetherby salon does all of the aforementioned brilliantly btw).....Ah well you get the gist. I'm sure you're a busy salon with plenty of clients and what am I talking about?? I'm talking about customer service and continuity....”
