“This was a gorgeous little church set in a beautiful village - (it also has two more churches in the Parish, St.Hildas, Ellerburn and St. George's, Wilton) and I was lucky to visit on the day of a flower festival, "Glory of the Garden" and there were some beautiful arrangements. I was equally lucky to meet the lovely Rev Sally Gough and see her beautiful wildflower display. I would recommend that if you visit Thornton le Dale that you drop in for a friendly cup of tea and say hi. I would like to say thank you to Sally for being so kind for posing for my picture with her wonderful display.”
