We visited Dissent on a family holiday in Scarborough back in August when my eldest son needed replacement bearings. In October of 2009 Dissent was opened as Scarborough’s only dedicated Skateboard Store and has since established itself to be a prime destination in Yorkshire for quality clothing, footwear and hardware.
Our goal is to provide a diverse range of hardware and clothing brands for various budgets and styles. We’re updating our stock regularly to reflect styles for each season, so be sure to check out the newest arrivals in the store. In 2023 Dissent moved from the high street to a new home in Scarborough. Along with the same great products in the shop we now have a skateboard mini-ramp and flatland section available to hire.
