their charity shops are a joke, staff are rude and unfriendly. Never buy electricals - they do not care if the items are even working, surely they need more than just a pat test before selling to the public.

Absolute disgrace of a charity, staff do not care and pass you on to more staff who do not care, running around in circles. And a CEO who is on 180,000 a year +. Stay clear of this place. It's a joke

Drive 4 minutes into town and drop with any of the other shops who are happy to take donations (you can even park on the double yellows to quickly unload!)? ?we close in 10 minutes I?m not taking that ..? and ? I?ve nowhere to store donations?? now I?m no charity shop running genius but I would think maybe using your ?stock room? and creating a location for donations might be a sensible idea.Even if you had absolutely nowhere to put them or they need to be sorted immediately..may I suggest something along the lines of..?wow thanks so much for thinking of us and coming to drop us donations but I?m so sorry we have to sort things out straight away and today we were overwhelmed with donations so can?t accept anymore at the moment ??might be a bit radical but just a suggestion - British heart foundation have a bin on entry to drop your donations in and were lovely.Whoever this was should probably reconsider their career choice as I don?t think charity or customer service are your greatest assets. I?m not sure charity should be funding your current skill set unfortunately.

Seeing all the begging adverts on TV I don?t trust Barnardos after what I?ve seen at higher up levels even though some workers aren?t like this and were friendly.
It is mostly higher up management and ones working behind the scenes who have no concern for consequences of child abuse and can only see as far as their noses.
If they were what they said then as a survivor they should have welcomed my views but weren?t interested. So this and what I?ve seen and heard elsewhere I am not donating to such an organisation which I thought would be more considerate.

Dropped a load of bags of clothes off at the charity shop, 5 bags today and about 7 or 8 bags the other day which included toys. Today the woman was so ungrateful and not very friendly at all, tried to make conversation with her saying I?ll have more bags in the next few days and she just wasn?t interested at all. Fair enough, clearly having a bad day. Went round into the shop to have a nosy and to see if any of the stuff I had donated had been put out yet, instead I stood and watched this same woman go through one of the bags and threw the clothes straight into the rags bin. There were clothes in that particular bag with tags still on. Spoke to manager and she said if they don?t ?like? one item in the bag then the whole bag gets placed into the rag bin. Really?
Will use a different charity in future that appreciates donations?
