“This dog friendly hotel in the Yorkshire Dales is a gem! First visit here after it was recommended by a friend. Located in the village of Malham next to the famous Malham Cove. There are so many places to explore nearby. The service was excellent and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. I’m a vegan, and they were able to provide great advice on the menu. The decor and rooms are traditional and stylish. We will definitely come back for another weekend away with the dogs. Thank you for a lovely stay!”

“After many times of driving down the A65 through to the Lake District we decided to make a stop off (finally) at the Maypole that we have always thought looked lovely every time we passed it. Today we tried it and had a lovely lunch. Steak and Ale pie is a must - lovely and filling and the Brie bites to start were delicious. Lovely staff, attentive and checking in on us at the right moments. Thanks !”

“We stayed here for a couple of nights for a family wedding, our rooms were very clean, nothing was too much bother for the staff, breakfast in the morning was fantastic, and the meals in the evening were very good, nice view of the canal and nice walks along the canal, just a bit too far to walk into Skipton.”
