What lovely little Cafe, they've got it just right here. Friendly and welcoming from the second we walked in. Great atmosphere and so much memorabilia. Breakfast was excellent and service was impeccable. Cant wait to go vack and try out the lunch menu!!

I will never forget this place. So much to look at in there with all the music paraphernalia. The chef was amazing. We could hear him singing with happiness. THE best breakfast and a friendly vibe. I wish I lived nearer

The best bacon sandwich we have ever had! Incredibly friendly waitress- cannot recommend highly enough, it?s a gem of a cafe!

After walking along the coast from Whitby we had built an appetite so stopped off in this lovely cosy cafe. It is relatively small but has a great atmosphere as it has retained some of the charm of the old PO. The menu is fairly small so don't go if you are expecting a wide variety of options, but what is on offer is well cooked, and hearty. My wife had Garlic Mushrooms on toast, and it was Yorkshire Rarebit for me, and they were both very nice. Well worth a visit.

We had a coffee and some snacks here. Nice toasts. You could hear the cook singing somewhat out of tune (on purpose, I guess) to hand-picked songs. Absolutely relaxing atmosphere.

Lovely chilled place, with terrific music on low volume, classic song lyrics on the ceiling and a great team working there. The tuna melt and the cheese and tomato melt were sublime. A popular place heightened by one red headed lady dining there with an exquisite sense of style.

We stopped at Tea, Toast and Post for brunch and enjoyed Yorkshire Rarebit and tea in the warm and friendly environment. Capacity is limited though so be warned at busy times you may not get a seat!

Just stopped in for a coffee - wonderful ambience, decor and music - loved the song lyrics on the ceiling, the old juke box in the corner and the assorted paraphernalia on the shelves including the Hobbit Hole chest - we managed to get the big red sofa which was wonderfully comfortable - thoroughly recommend popping in if you?re visiting Robin Hood?s Bay.

The coffee and toast was nice. It is advertised as a dog friendly cafe, however staff refused to offer my dog a bowl of water. We visited on a hot day, I was unhappy that the outside doors were not kept open, customers were too hot, and there seemed to be no acknowledgement of covid still being a threat. The staff were not over friendly, we felt disappointed. It felt cramped, probably nicer with less people

We enjoyed an excellent breakfast this morning and wanted to say thank you for being so accommodating. We are both Vegan and the staff were happy to check everything we ordered and the kitchen staff put together a lovely breakfast for us. I work in a cafe and appreciate how hard it is to be so accommodating when you're busy in the summer so it is doubly appreciated. After walking through the old town being repeatedly offered dry toast and jam I'm so glad we popped in and asked. The hummus on toast and the bruschetta is really really good. Thank you again, you fuelled our day and we will be back whenever we're in the area.

Called in after walking from Ravenscar following the other recommendations on trip advisor, well worth the visit. Ordered 2 fish finger sandwiches (£5 each) and 2 cups of tea (£2 each), both really tasty. For some reason they were not offering inside seating but we were luck to get the one 2 seater table outside which was a blessing after a long walk. It appears we had the last sandwiches as they had been so busy that morning they had run out of bread ! As others have said, it has a really nice vibe, the service was good and authentic, and the music was relaxing and eclectic. The reference to 'big boy sarnies' is from when the owner brought them to me and said something like, "Here you are, get your teeth around these 'big boys'!" They were great.
