“Went in for Easter eggs as we had forgotten ours in hull. Was very surprised to see shelves full of Easter eggs. The deals they had on Easter cakes were perfect we brought them too. The man behind the counter was very polite and apologized when we couldn’t get certain things(not his fault) the mccolls in hull are to big and get you in and out. Was nice to see staff actually paying attention to their customers. And having care for them.”
“Mostly local staff and those that aren't local are always very welcoming, good range of products, and for a relatively small village (Castleton) it plays a big part in keeping the community waterd and fed. ?”
“Just as you'd expect from a decent size Co-op. Very good deli and cheese section. Decent stock levels and wide selection of products including more local choices. Clean, tidy and no queues at check out at 13.00 on a Wednesday. Got what we needed without any fuss. Excellent.”

“This is a great store. The staff are helpful and generally enjoyable to be around. I come here many days a week to get sweets, bread, milk and what not. However the one thing that slighty bothers me is the recent increase in price. Why go to Spar to get a bottle of milk when you can get one for cheaper in Aldi or Lidl? Well I still choose Spar over Lidl over the road and if you want that not to change then please use the prices you had in the past. I will rate 5 stars if so. Quality 10/10. Good shop overall.”
