Always visit this jewellery shop when in Whitby to buy a charm from here. Owners are always helpful & friendly.

Best place to buy whitby whitby jet jewelleryThe owner was hand crafting while I was in the shop and according to local knowledge he's the only jeweller who source the jet himself also a lot of the other jet shops are massively over priced for just silver and jet. This if the shop to go if you want whitby jet jewellery.

After looking in so many shop windows for a piece of jet jewellery I decided to do a bit of research and settled for this small genuine shop. Bought a gorgeous necklace and will be back for another piece.

Great service when I took my earrings back nearly a year later. Not only did they reset the stone that was damaged but they put new backs on and cleaned them all to look like new. Highly recommended.

Good little jet workshop, shame it's never open when we visit as we would have liked to have bought some earings in the window last time.
A list of opening times in the widow would help ?

Lovely Jet items crafted beautifully in store.

If you want genuine Whitby Jet from a craftsman who has been in the business all of his career and from generations of family in the business, look no further. My wife found what she was looking for (Pandora type charms) at a fair price. Owner is a really nice guy and gives you real confidence to buy from him. Would strongly recommend.

My partner bought me a necklace. The lady who served us was very helpful and the man who makes the jewelry was also very helpful too. The lady said I could go back the following day if I needed the length altering which I did, nothing was to much trouble. My necklace is great and unique which I love. I highly recommend this unique little jet jewellers.

Having wanted a piece of Whitby jet jewellery for more years than I can remember, my b.f bought me a gorgeous cross and chain, whilst visiting this week.
I love the fact that my piece is a total 'one off'. A bespoke, hand crafted necklace.
It is certainly a most treasured gift from Whitby.
I will have to add another item when we next visit. Thank-you so much.

This little out of the way shop gave my wife a terrific deal on a lovely piece of Whitby jet jewelry. We were in Whitby only for the day and were looking for a charm for a charm bracelet. When the helpful, friendly proprietor told us we could save £3 by removing the chain from a pendant (which we didn't want anyway), my wife cried "Sold!" There are a lot of jet jewelry shops in Whitby, but we think this is one of the best.

Kev Dixon is by far the most talented jet carver in Whitby. He dives for the jet himself, eschewing the sub-standard imported material and carves beautifully. While in Whitby, I commissioned a small skull from him, which was wonderful. Subsequently, I commissioned some winkles and a lobster (picture attached) which are every bit as good. His prices are excellent, especially given the quality of the work produced.
