Carol in store is just super super knowledgable she saved me so much time and money and was an absolute pleasure to deal with! What an asset to the business. I truly hope she gets recognised as she is one helpful happy knowledgeable staff member who adds so much value. I for sure will be only returning to this b&q store. Dare I say it but she knows more than most builders too! So worth a chat with Carol before proceeding with any house works

Called in this morning, went to the outside plant section, a very cheerful helpful man gave us some advice. Went to pay only one till open,around four members of staff stood talking at the other side.when I was served the man behind the counter scanned both my items,one of which was harf price. After the transaction had taken place on my way out I then realised he had charged me too much,I returned to the man at the till to rectify the problem. When I explained this to him he notified me that I had only given him one item to scan,this was absolute nonsense as I pointed out he had charged full price for both items which was on my receipt as proof. This man was dam right ignorant, very abrupt and had no manners whatsoever, all the years I've shopped here very good customer service until now,maybe this man should be working in the warehouse and not front of house on the tills,I will take my custom elsewhere, I do not go into a shop to be made to feel like a criminal.

Was on clifton moor so visited. Good place to see all the ranges of powered and cordless strimmers, mowers, etc.Very helpful staff, as had questions about smoke alarms I'd bought previously.

I popped in to the store today very well run in deed looking at lights and flooring I was very pleased with the first class help I got from a man called Olly he was professional and interested in his job and my needs may thanks to Olly .

Excellent 'click & collect' service. I ordered at 6:30pm on Saturday and, although it was ready to collect 20 minutes later, I went to pick it up Sunday morning. Parking was free and easy to access. The store opens at 10 am but the staff had unlocked the doors a few minutes earlier. There were about 10 vehicles in the car park. It was very easy to find the dedicated 'click & collect' collection point, which had clear instructions. You need to show a copy of your confirmation email (on a device or printed) because they need the order number and have some ID (eg driving licence) just in case. The staff were excellent, polite, helpful and very quick, though not stressfully rushing around. I would definitely use this service again.

Pleasantly surprised at the change in this store. Stopped using it as it never seemed to have what we needed. This visit we got everything in one go.

It's OK, however it's very expensive and some of the prices are disgusting, no wonder why people are ordering via online stores for major items ie tools, drill bits and items like that or places like amazon for things such as tape and silicone etc 7 pound for 3 slim rolls of cheapest masking tape ... £1 in most places, even your own brand rollers and brushes are a mortgage, they're nearly as expensive as brand such as purdy, Hamilton and wooster, nothing but a convenience fee if you ask me.Gave 3 star as staff are always pleasant and "normally" has what you need if your in a pinch aside from clear silicone for less than £7 a tube
