Screws and nails and wood and drills and wallpaper and emulsion and plants and compost and shelves and hinges and doorknobs and rawlplugs and hammers and spanners and bolts and nuts and lightbulbs and sandpaper and masking tape and glue and pliers and cables and nuts and bathrooms and cupboards and doors and loft insulation and Christmas trees and lawnmowers and varnish and doors and buckets and paintbrushes and tiles and plaster.That was my shopping list and they had it all!

AWFUL. I had the most infuriating experience at B&Q recently, and I feel compelled to leave a 1-star review to express my frustration. I visited their store with a simple task in mind: getting some key copies made.Firstly, the key copy machine at B&Q refused to accept any of my cards. To make matters worse, no staff member bothered to assist me.I decided to withdraw cash from an ATM. To my dismay, it turned out that the key machine didn't accept £20 notes. Once again, I turned to the unhelpful B&Q staff for assistance. But did they help me exchange my £20 note for smaller denominations? Absolutely not. They simply refused and looked visibly bothered by my request.At this point, I had wasted both my time and money, with the machine having taken my £10 note without providing the key copies I needed. B&Q's staff continued their "I am sorry" charade, clearly indifferent to my frustration.In summary, my experience at B&Q was nothing short of a customer service nightmare. The key copy machine was unreliable, the staff were unhelpful, and their apologies were insincere. I will think twice before setting foot in this store again.

Typical big box store, they have all of the essentials. Don't expect anything outside of the ordinary though.

This is my favourite B&Q. Sometimes I go just for something to do. The staff are nice which makes all the difference. For example, today Roger noticed I needed assistance at the self-check out straight away. He was a friendly bloke and happy to help.
