I’ve only had an initial assessment and spoken to somebody else, but even the reception staff here make sure you’re well looked after. Coming from a horrible experience this place has given me some hope. They seem very knowledgeable in the area they’re there to help you with and approach it with sensitivity and kindness. “Fantastic shop full of surprises. Some great clothes too, often brand new. Can't believe people actually make returns to a charity shop and ask for a refund! Its a charity shop for goodness sake, the people working in there are giving their time free of charge and the best way to support them and the cause, is to buy items. If we change our mind, why not just donate it back? Have a post Christmas sort out and take it to Barnardo's if you can!”

“Having read some negative reviews, I was slightly concerned out our upcoming stay. I needn’t have worried. The hotel is lovely. The room was clean with extremely comfortable beds. We were staying for an event that was well organised, the catering was excellent and the staff worked extremely hard. There was a great choice at breakfast which set us up for the day. We were able to catch a bus right outside the hotel that took us into York so didn’t have to worry about driving or using the park and ride. A huge thanks to the whole team who work so hard to make it an enjoyable stay.”
