Very friendly staff, I go to Harrogate Cooplands as well and the staff there are also friendly. I love visiting York and Harrogate, great food and lots of choice.

Cooplands always has a good selection of baked goods and is reasonably priced. Personally however I definitely think the quality of Thomas the Baker is a-lot higher and it?s worth the extra 150m walk around the corner.

A light. Nothingness. A beacon. A void. When the putridicity of baked goods and wrapped sandwiches wafted around like a lain maiden remising in the wind I knew this would be my place of rest; to hold home on my chest and sing a valour with vivacity all arc angles would hear. 'A singular brownie' I muttered, As if Jehovah had smitten me down all but one word rested on my mind. Bloom. Bloom like a dusk rose rising at dawn making its hollowly tea on a petal of its predecessors. My blossoming is now. I had developed a poinchoí for the finer things in life since an early age savouring every drop of baby formula that passed my cold cracked lips. Swaddled in a blanket of marketed plastic I raptured my mouth across the warm surface of a gooey brownie, fluiditating throughout the universe as its crumbs danced in a hopak with my tasty buds. 'That'll be a fiver love'...

Friendly staff. Got a couple slices of pastries and they were quite nice. Not a lot of selection probably because it was kinda late when I arrived. Not bad though.

The staff in the BEVERLEY branch in Toll Gavel appear to have a fixed train of thought and not able to switch off. They need to listen to their customer standing Infront of them. I feel like a foreigner in my own country here. They appear to be unable to understand another English accent apart from their own Yorkshire accent. Some words are pronounced differently between the North and South but we all speak the same tongue. I just wish they would improve their listening skills. Beverley is like a backwater. Still set in the past. A generation behind London. Shame and frustrating when I live here now.

Still the best place to eat in Driffield. Good prices and excellent staff. Clean surroundings. But thin on cakes and deserts since the take over of Asda owners.

A great offer for a breakfast roll and hot drink. Amazing price for the quality of produce used.

I got the ?breakfast think outside the box? breakfast for £3.50. I was informed there were no hash browns or tomatoes available which was okay and I didn?t want egg so I was offered to double up on a couple of things. I asked to double on the beans and sausage. I don?t have a photo but I got two bacon rashers, mushrooms, two sausages and beans. I?m not sure if the member of staff forgot about doubling up on the beans portion however the portion of beans was tiny, I feel like it wasn?t even one big spoonful of beans. Other than the lack of beans the breakfast was okay and the service was good. Would probably go back to try some of the other pastries and sweet treats.
