“Came for a click and collect could have had more signage that it was upstairs collection as I had to queue for ages to be told to go upstairs. But once I got the the collection point it was very quick and smooth to collect my parcel.”

“Most of the staff were helpful and friendly, the food was nice (but somewhat overpriced). I did think the vegetarian choice was very poor. I enquired about a vegetarian sandwich (eg cheese very simple to do), I was informed they did not do them and I could have a cheese omelet or sweet potato curry. The chicken club sandwiches which the others in my party had were apparently very nice. I left feeling hungry.”

“I was looking for some Summer pyjamas in conventional style &thought I'd found some. However when I checked the sizes an L (large) was only for 36-38 inches whereas M&S for example L would fit 43-44 inches(chest) my size. At Matalan I would have had to go to an XXL or XXXL which were not available.”

“Well this place I did go in there was one Weekend I went in there and they could only take cash payments only I was not sure what amount of cash I would need to be paying.So did return on a Week day and they Card Machine was starting to work and accepting card Payments”

“My husband and I had breakfast at The Pavement Marks and Spencer in York on 25th August '21.\\nThe staff, Courtney, Sophie and Steph were all lovely.\\nI cannot eat food containing wheat or gluten. And when I asked if the sausages where gluten/wheat free, they went out of their way to find out, bringing to us the food allergens list allowing me to see for myself. As it happens they use gluten/wheat free sausages, which is great. Because of cross infection they actually brought me a pack of four GF bread buns and said that we could keep them with no extra charge as they were not allowed to handle them.\\nI'd like to say a big thank you for being so helpful, understanding abs obliging. This doesn't happen very often. Next time we're in York, we will revisit!”

“Gluten free (non coeliac) breakfast We get tired of looking for gluten free focused places and thought we would try these guys after struggling to find a park at a local cafe that likely offered a better quality coffee. We decided to just 'grab something' from this cafe but we're delighted to see a full English breakfast and smaller options for eat in. No specific gluten free menu but offered vegan and vegetarian options. However the staff were happy to look up the allergens on their menuNote to GF - no gluten free bread offered, all sausages contain gluten however the chef was happy to add another egg and some extra bits and pieces to make up for the sausage and bread. It was still a very full breakfast and filling.These guys were very busy but the ladies in the restaurant were so happy to help and doing a great job- considering. Line up at the till even if you want just coffee as this seemed to create confusion for some patrons and listen out for your table number.The coffee was pretty average, otherwise I would have given 5 stars but we also have a fussy, Australian palate for coffee and honestly didn't expect a lot from a supermarket cafe. :-) good find.”

“Came here today and it was brilliant! The set out (and smell) of the shop is absolutely beautiful. We wanted a bit of help and Debbie who works there couldn’t have been more helpful, so nice with us and sorted bits out for us. Didn’t catch the name of the other lady that helped us but she was lovely also! Fab service. Will definitely return!”
