First Visited this pub on the way back from foxton locks we were just stopping for a drink but ended up eating. So we decided to have our monthly ladies that lunch meal here. The girls loved it the over 60s light lunch is amazing value and we squeezed in a bottle of wine. The place was packed but the service was excellent. We will be returning.Parking: Big car park at the back of the pub.

This was the first time I'd eaten in the George on a Friday night. What an absolutely fantastic experience. The Food was outstanding, the service was brilliant and the atmosphere was wonderful. Nothing but laughter and respect for others. The bar staff were great and I only waited 15 seconds to be served at a busy bar. I cannot find any fault with this pub, first impressions last and the first impression of this pub, its customer focused, making sure each customer is given the gold standard of service.This was the first time, it was a delight to give the staff a tip, well deserved. I will return to enjoy the delights , atmosphere and service of The George Brixworth.Parking: Loads of space we'll litKid-friendliness: Kid friendly the pub boast an open fire and customers with dogs which the kids loved seeing. Lots of things for the kids to look at even the Library Room, whete you can eat and read. Also a pool table in the other bar.

best burger I have had,good waitress service. Reasonable prices, £7.50 for two ample courses. Log fire,nice atmosphere.

We went at about 2 PM on a Saturday. Had a lovely huge lunch of bacon brei toasted baguette with chips and salad! My friend who is vegetarian was delighted with her own menu.

The staff were pleasant and the food was tasty but the restuarant, bar area and soft seating in front of the fireplace were tired and in need of a deep clean. A good effort had been made with the Xmas Dec's & it felt very festive.
