Normally love it in here but we decided to sit outside today and the service wasn?t great. Ordered chips and they didn?t come, had to ask for them once we?d finished our meals. The waitress came outside twice through our whole visit, didn?t clear our plates after sitting there empty for 45 minutes and took a very long time to take payment, we felt ignored because we sat outside. Normally good service and fast but today was a bit disappointing. Good food though!

Cafe Royal Bistro was very busy when we arrived but the staff managed to clean a table for us. The menu has many items catering for all tastes, including burgers, panini's, wraps, sandwiches, toasties and breakfast plates. Our food came after 5 minutes of ordering which was extremely quick, especially considering it being a peak time of 12pm. The hot chocolate was a solid 9/10, the froth was perfect and the flavour was very rich. The cheese and mushroom toastie was absolutely delicious, despite its small size I found myself full very quickly due to the cheese. The beans on toast was also really nice, with a generous serving of beans on top. Overall the price per person came to around £7.50 which is an absolute saver considering the great value and quality of the food. 10/10 will absolutely come here again if I'm in the area!Vegetarian options: The menu had at least one option catering in each category for vegetarians

My friend and I were visiting Corby (Northamptonshire) and we decided to go for a coffee and a snack. The place we usually go to was closed, so we tried the Café Royale Bistro. We were served promptly and our snacks & coffees were good. I noticed what other people were ordering and eating (for future reference!) and the meals looked very appetising. We'll definitely go back again.

Just went in for a cheeky bacon roll and Americano for breakfast. Bacon was tasty and cooked well.....coffee as good as anywhere in town.

We visited this cafe several times over the past few years, and yesterday was just a typical visit, and they offered an outstanding meal.We come in, and we can choose where we want to sit; they can have indoor and outdoor tables. We usually sit indoors, and the menu is already there, next to a selection of free sauces such as tomato and brown sauce.The waitress comes over and takes our order, and the food is often quick. I decided to have eggs and beans on toast, which was very simple but filling.Tasty too, and I've never had an issue with the Cafe Royale Bistro. Awesome job!
