“Love this churches architecture. It is a beautiful space, although looking slightly jaded in places. This church dates from the 1700's and as well as the interesting history posted around walls and floor, it reflects the Towns wealth, importance and the Christian prominence in society. Didnt have chance to hear the organs (are there 2?) or test the acoustics, which I suspect will be pretty good.Our visit also included tea and cake at the Bistro just inside the church door. Highly recommended. Competitively priced, good quality simple food and a smile. What more could the weary traveller ask?”
