“If you like cheap stuff of variable quality, then you'll like Poundland. Things actually cost more than a pound in a lot of cases, meaning you can't enjoy the amusement of asking how much something costs, like you could in the old days when everything was one pound. A good place for cheap chocolate and assorted things you probably don't need.”

“My only "gripe" about this store is that they often seem reluctant to add people onto tills during busy periods - you can have a queue half way along the store before they'll even open a second till.(never mind a third or fourth).”

“Great for all random needs! I found disco lights,grow crystal,puzzles,art supplies,stress toys,books, summer items and much more! Staff is limited as it is a small shop but the staff are very friendly! Expect a minute or two delay if the shop is being tidyed or restocked.”

“I didn't buy anything but my friend bought a few items including some lovely bootee slippers for Christmas for me for only £5. Lots of freezer items I didn't know they sold and shall return and buy some when I have room in my freezer. Bit shocked at how much some of the prices had risen.”
