“Would have been a great time with stuffing on the roasts.We’re giving this an overall 7.5 - would have been an 8.5 if it had stuffing.The chicken comes with it, but we couldn’t order a side of it? The waitress wouldn’t even check if we could.Portion size on the Wellington is a bit painful - especially if you’re paying the same price for a meat dish. However, the tarragon cream with it was beautiful.The roast was solid. Perfectly crispy roasties, Yorkshire’s had some super fluff going on, beef was succulent, loved the parsnips business.We were thinking of bumping the score up because of the cheese board, but all the praise goes down to the supplier, Cobblers Nibble.The Camembert is a wild experience! 10/10 for the cheeses.If you get here early enough, you can catch some live jazz as wellFor a random drop in, after a walk by the canal, we were pleasantly surprised. “Great location of the Premier Inn, close to M1, and easy to get if you travel A45. It has Dobbie's Garden Centre next door. Full english breakfast and plant hunting sound like a great plan for me. I can't say much about the rooms as I haven't stayed for the night. I met friends there with kids during the school holiday. Atmosphere was lovely, breakfast room looks new and cosy, but what really makes difference there is team, particulary tiny lady called Jackie. I overheard other guests complimenting her too, so I'm not the only one noticing her cheerful and bubbly personality that is important at the start of the day!”

“Recently stayed for 2 nights, it's quiet, ample parking and a fab place to stay if on a budget. The staff were really friendly and helpful, rooms clean and I will be rebooking. If value for money is what you are looking for, this is excellent. ?Noteworthy details: Easy access to Northampton”

“Standard premier Inn, great beds and good location, not too far from the M1. I was in room 6 and really poor mobile signal and hotel WiFi was pretty bad as well. I think this was down to placement of the wireless AP's and nothing else. Stayed at a few recently and no issues at those.”

“Rooms were clean with only some marks on the carpets. My wife and I stayed on the 4th floor and couldn't hear the night club but apparently it can be a problem on weekends. The best part was the staff, they were very friendly and always willing to help.”

“Very easy check in with a friendly lady called Jackie. Pleasant spacious room, it was really quiet which I was surprised about being at the motorway services. Very clean, the bed was comfy. The bathroom was spotless but could do with a revamp. We got a great deal booking in advance and I would defo stay again.”

“Stayed overnight for a night out, room was lovely and clean, got an iron from the front desk with ease. Only thing I will say is ports by the bed are USB A so I had to plug my phone in across the room because I use USB C fast chargers for my phone. Literally a 3 minute walk to The Boston so perfect for a great night!”

“I stopped at this hotel as my Tesla directed me here to charge. On first inspection the hotel was lovely. Everything was clean, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Me and my wife got a drink and we sat outside as it was a lovely day. They even have insect houses! Lovely to see a hotel giving back to nature. 10/10 for me??”
