Usual basic accommodation.Room is clean.Looks like it's being used by DSS for housing people as each time I've walked in or out there's people in pyjamas at the door smoking.£25 for a night is OK though

Basic room, clean with ok beds. Lighting could be brighter, hard to read at night. Fab shower. Not enough electric sockets for charging phones etc. hey ho you get what you pay for. Good value for money and at least the windows open.

Hotel is one of the original 1960s buildings. Travelodge have just changed carpets. But old corridors, old dated bathrooms with small height showers. Small tvs. Paint and decoration patched up in corridors. Lack of plug sockets. This place could be demolished as cheaper than refurbishing I feel. Dark rooms and comfy beds. Clean bed but bathroom needs replacing asap. Green brown rusted metal plug holes. Chipped rusted enamel bath. The bath panel mat, is lifted peeling away, who wants a bath in this? With I guess soap and hairs that could come out of filled with water, the metal bin in bath is rusted through. How this is not binned and replaced is a hazard surely? Cobwebs on ceiling in bedroom, permanent Stains on walls in bathroom, heats made squeak noise etc it?s opposite bp petrol station marks and Spencer?s so handy for food and drink and fast food of the chicken take away restaurant. I hope travelodge HQ read and go and spend there money back at this site as it?s not fair for the staff and cleaners that do a hard job. Car park needs more white lines and lighting. More bins of the chicken place too.

Great short stay hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean and fresh. Staff are helpful especially Chloe who went out of her way to help when we had an issue with some tickets we ordered.Rooms: Clean, cosy and spaciousNearby activities: Very close to a retail park with lots of places to eat and things to do.Safety: Access to hotel good with pedestrian crossings in place to get to the retail park.Walkability: Very close to a retail park with lots of places to eat and things to do.

Although I turned off at the correct place it is not obvious where to go to park so I missed it and had to go around the dual carriageway.Lovely young lady at check-in.

A bit dated and worn in places but great staff, comfortable bed and a brilliant shower. All at a competitive price.

Booked for 2 nights stayed 3 hours, when I booked the fried chicken restaurant had not been built, and the pictures on the website showed a decent size car park.Arrived to find that the hotel and restaurant shared the car park with little space. Was staying for a motorsport meeting nearby and had a lot of expensive tools in the boot of the car which I didn't feel safe leaving, and was no guarantee of finding a place to park the following day.
