Booked a table online, then received a call to change my time despite website and booking facility both saying the original time booked was still acceptable. Had to rush to get to the new time slot. Service was very good, staff were very polite and helpful.

I haven?t been to this pub for years, but had a catch up with a friend there last night and it was great. Menu is varied, being a veggie there is always that much choice on some menus, but there were a few different options which was good to see.Service was polite, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed!We didn?t realise there was a pub quiz on last night, but something we might come back for at some point in the future.Thank you for a lovely meal and cosy atmosphere! Only slight negative would be that the music was quite loud on one side of the pub (didn?t effect us as we sat on the other side but may put some people off who just want a quiet meal)!Thanks!

Monday lunchtime visit with friends. Only instant coffee available and very limited choice of lager. Very limited vegetarian options so had the scampi and chips. Food was pretty poor and expensive - nearly £12, there was an £8.50 'light bite lunch' option which must be TINY because the £12 meal was small and the scampi was overcooked so hard like little stones. Staff are friendly...ish and (perhaps unsurprisingly) easy to get served. I'll probably think twice before eating here again though.

We popped by for a lunch date(me n hubby)..were greated by a lovely friendly man behind the bar,and given a choice of tables.We chose our table,ordered food and drinks at the bar,were served starters,both had prawn cocktails,mine gluten free..the quantity smalk,6 prawns in sauce on a little shredded lettuce,no cucumber,tomato or lemon,and only half a small bread roll for me..not worth the mobey really..the mains were ok,though elements missing,cutlery and hubbys dippibg sauce,also quute a long wait for simple meals..though the staff and pub,and surriundings were lovely.

Looks like a normal chain pub. Pool table. Despite what it says on Google maps though kitchen closes before 7.30pm which is a bit hopeless.

Staff were welcoming and friendly, food order was dealt with promptly, we had reserved a table prior to our visit, and the table we were given was nicely situated with a garden view.Overall, the food was good, tasty and hot, although the onion rings I ordered did not arrive with the meal and were brought to the table later, other than that, everything was good. Will definitely recommend.

When we arrived it was busy but not too busy. We were told a selection of the menu was unavailable but that didn?t damper our meal. We ordered at the bar to a lovely waitress who was very accommodating to the changes we asked for on our meals and did it with a smile. Although the meal took a little longer than it would usually (valentines Day does that to some places) when the meals arrived they were phenomenal and perfectly cooked.Everyone who checked in on our meal brought it with a smile. Lovely team working here! Thank you ??
