“Excellent products. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who will happily advise you on what to buy and what not to buy, even if it means them missing out on a sale.”

“Probably the best value foodstuffs in increasingly difficult financial times. Great range of food and well laid out. Loads of pre-prepared ready meals, granted, but equally a big range of vegetables.”

“Great shop at value prices. Always love their bakery section, and they've expanded on their fresh meat section as well. And well stocked compared to other supermarkets at the moment. Only thing I couldn't get was tinned carrots.”

“Not a bad store at all, Just feel a bit sorry for the staff having to deal with crazed persons high on drugs and drink coming into their store and making their lives a misery. the city council really should be doing something about this as the city centre has become a no go zone as of lately.”

“All day fry... an ok meal if it was not billed out with baked beans.. the cheapest part of the brunch. Nice cuppa and good to see soda bread and potato bread on the plate. All freshly cooked too! All in an not a bad experience.”

“Lidl will always get my vote. Most certainly the BEST store is Antrim. I never every shop at Tesco or Asda. Capitalist companies. Every little help.. boost the profits for and bonuses. They are over priced. Lidle most certainly have got it right.”

“I have visited the new store on the shore road, they have fresh bread and pastries which are baked daily. There's a wide range off fresh fruits and vegetables and the fridges are always packed with varieties of meat and fish which are manufactured locally. They also have a range of baking products at very reasonable prices if you feel like doing a little bit of home baking. It's worth the visit!”

“It's in need of an overhaul as the roof has bags attached to it to catch the rain. Not a good look. The shelves are not getting rotated as some of the food has longer dates at the front and the back has the older ones. The flowers are not very nice as quite a few have weathered ones in them and are not reduced. Not sure if I will be back at this one. I do like the Ballyclare and Larne store.”
