Absalote balloons for counter staff?can?t count cash right. For someone who used to work in retail? how a receipt can be traced is beyond me. For moving out for my first year and feeling how pricey monthly shopping can be. The guy at the counter doesn?t know how much cash he needs to be handing out to his customers? walked out of the store realised how much he only returned to me to be told he can?t give me the rest of my money which was a 10 note. Proper joke.. last place I?ll be shopping is ballyclare lidle. They should be doing math tests before they?re hired and if they did? it was pure luck with him.

Prices and products are good, variety and quality wise too. The temperature inside the shop is very low, better wear a coat when shopping there.

Genuinely terrible by comparison to other lidl stores in the immediate area. It's almost as if stocking this store is an afterthought for Lidl, if you can't get what you are looking for here (which happens frequently) you can almost always get it at Larne or Antrim instead. Specific points of criticism: fruit and veg (particularly soft fruit) is often found moulding on the shelves or in such poor condition it would never keep if when you got it home. Lines such as Lidl brand caramel wafer biscuits or Lidl brand Mars bars disappear or are de-ranged for weeks/months at a time. Anything on offer on the Lidl app will frequently be an empty space on the shelf by the time you get there. The plants and flowers they sell have taken a nosedive in quality from what they were even two years ago. The staff in the stores also apparently no longer water the plants, so by the Saturday after they have went on sale (usually Thursday) any remaining plants that aren't drought tolerant are usually beyond rescue. Honestly I'd give this store 0 stars if I could, it just needs a complete revamp to bring it up to parity with the flagship stores in neighbouring towns.

Not that cheap compared to when they first opened. Good for a few products, but not a great selection in store.Worse thing about the store is the really annoying queue management at the Tills. For example one till opened and about 6 people waiting 3 with full trolleys. After waiting 10 minutes I got to the checkout and emptied my small basket. Someone with a big shop was in front of me. They then opened another till and i watched 3 people that were behind me get served while i waited another 5 minutes. Not good enough.

Very helpful staff. It was some time since I had visited this store and I felt a bit disoriented especially with so much new stock. The workers were knowledgeable, patient, efficient and very helpful

Concerned to find so many shoppers not using face masks when shopping at LIdl Ballyclare on the afternoon of 2/3/21 .Company policy well displayed and states masks mandatory and if not possible for medical reason shopper should report to management.Sufficiently conference I sought out the duty manager and alerted staff to the unacceptable situation and was very surprised at the less than professional awareness of the policy and the enthusiasm to enforce it for the safety of the other shoppers and the store hygienic standards.Plenty of public from them on the issue but no willingness to keep us safe .Think I will find somewhere else to do my shopping and stay safer.

Always have a good experience at Lidl ballyclare however today was different. Was served by a guy with long hair who only spoke to tell me how much to pay. I work in a supermarket myself I know about pressures and it's not easy working through this pandemic but a little courtesy doesn't cost anything. A hello and goodbye would of been nice!!

Fed up with Lidl's advertising special offers of tools or garden items, then when you arrive the morning the offer starts they tell you they have all gone and you need to be there for opening time. I think they must only put a couple of items on just to lure you into their Stores. This has happened in a number of occasions in the Ballyclare Store, very disappointed.
