Very nice staff, they were quick to get me a Phone appraisal, however, I believe it was according to CEX company guidelines, they gave my fresh out of the box Samsung A10 a B grade

Love this shop I'm in all the time, my favourite staff member to see is the blonde girl I think her name is Taylor and she always makes my day and is always super helpful and chatty, there are some staff members I have found to be rude so I choose to avoid them.

Good selection of games and your free to browse with no hassle or pressure to buy anything. Watch the prices though, one of ours scanned at higher than the price marked on the game

CEX (Complete Entertainment Exchange) is a prominent retailer in the field of consumer electronics and entertainment products. Having recently visited one of their stores, I had a mixed experience that I would like to share.Firstly, I was impressed by the wide range of products available at CEX. They had an extensive selection of pre-owned and new video games, DVDs, Blu-rays, smartphones, and other electronic devices. It was a haven for tech enthusiasts and entertainment lovers alike. The store was well-organized, making it easy to browse through the various sections and find what I was looking for.However, I found the pricing at CEX to be somewhat inconsistent. While some products were reasonably priced, others seemed overpriced for their condition. The pre-owned items, in particular, varied greatly in quality, and it was challenging to determine their condition accurately before purchasing. I felt that more transparency in the pricing and condition of the products would greatly improve the customer experience.On the positive side, the staff at CEX were knowledgeable and friendly. They were always ready to assist and answer any questions I had. The checkout process was smooth and efficient, and I appreciated the option to trade in my old electronics and games for store credit.Overall, my experience at CEX was a mixed bag. While they offer a vast selection of products and have helpful staff, the pricing and consistency in product quality left something to be desired. If you're willing to invest the time to carefully examine items and compare prices, you may find some great deals at CEX. However, it's important to approach your purchases with caution and be mindful of the potential inconsistencies.

There is a good selection of Blu-ray to choose from and they sell lots of technology like for example computers and camera. The staff Is friendly when you interncat with them first.

Unfortunate experienceWent to the Bangor cex to buy a Nintendo console, unfortunately none of the games would read on it even though it did with the other consoles. I tried contacting them on their messenger and other ways, but they never see or answered my messages, very disappointed.

Been getting refurbished phones from this company for about a decade and any issues which there generally always are, have always been resolved however on this occassion I was sold a faulty Note 10 which unfortunately I happened to create a tiny crack in which CEX are leaning on to avoid honouring their warranty. I don't think it is acceptable for a massive global company to be selling faulty phones and then refusing to honour their warranty after only 2 months of use. This was a £400 phone. Absolutely vile behaviour. The baldy autist behind the counter even had the effrontery to give me some software to try and get me to repair the faulty firmware myself. The kid didn't even try to ascertain what actually caused the phone to die, just lent on the cosmetic crack at the back, which no air can breach. Embarrassing service from a joke company.
