Called into Asda as usual I was in a hurry!Decided to use the self scanner to speed my shopping experience.At the self checkout it deemed it necessary for a quality check! . No staff in attendance!Eventually I was told the battery operated scanner the staff use had run out of battery, I waited for the quality check to be carried out. So much for my quick shop!!

Beware of the offer of 25%off6 bottles of wine, it has to be over 5.50 a bottle, but it doesn?t state this unless you can read the tiny,tiny writing at the bottom, it should be displayed in larger words with the sign above, waited to speak to duty manager but none appeared ?

Thee worst customer service desk by far and I have used several Asda stores. It is never properly staffed, you wait an age and the staff are the most unfriendliest disgruntled staff who have a cheek to work under a sign "customer service"... you should take a leaf out of the Shore Road staff... who know how to treat their customers....I visited the store on 12th July at 15.44 there was a queue at customer service with nobody behind the desk, I asked how long they had been waiting, they stated a guy had gone into the store a while ago, there was a girl on working at the click and collect who totally ignored the building queue, no acknowledgement or apology for the wait or any intention of calling for any help, she just carried on scanning parcels.. by this stage more customers had joined the queue.... it was ridiculous with customers becoming more and more igitated..The guy eventually reappeared , no apology for the wait, nothing... serve and get rid... seriously bad customer service that unfortunately is a reoccurring problem... I complain about it all the time only this time decided enough is enough... hence this complaint!!!

Scanners : no scanners have been available 3 out of my last 5 visits. Staff very reluctant to help with this. Today I had to go to the tills to get my own scanner, put it back at the station and log in.At the scan tills you always but always have to wait for ages for a very disgruntled member of staff to come to authorise alcohol pyrchases. Today i couldn't help overhear two members of staff, on the shop floor in full hearing of customers, cursing about a manager. The most unhelpful, unpleasant staff I have come across in recent times in mitigation, they do seem to be understaffed and under pressure. My till receipt says that I was there at 11:18 am 11/03/23. I visit this store every Thursday evening with my mum and sister and i am sorry to say that we are going to change to another supermarket, let me explain first thing trolleys need a service can't get money in or out. The cleanliness zero all round from you walk into the entrance. The availability of products Omg do not know where to start i bet if you completed an audit the results would be horrifying for this business the missed sales worrying. The plants at the exit "passed there sale by on the way out crying for some water. Customer service what is this ???? Asda what is going on!!!

Why do I give one star, consider they have no means to check stock, there is no way to speak to someone to check stock. All because their staff can't check stock. So I drive a long way to get to a large Asda to learn if they have something in stock or not. They did not have in stock. Waste of time and fuel. Very annoying, I even tried to use the click and collect which brings you so far and leaves you in limbo. It is not click and collect it is click and get it tomorrow.You have asked for an order number which makes it clear that actually my original reply is just on an automated response. Another reflection of the ASDA service. I cant give an order number because I couldn't make the order.

Disgraceful not having a contact number for customers to actually speak with a person and not an automated voice, husband bought shopping over £67 including 3 alcohol gifts 2 bottles of wine and a £22.50 bottle of Smirnoff Red for birthday gifts, bag busted and majority of the bottles smashed and the food destroyed! Will this be refunded have receipt and all the items and the receipts clearly says bag bought??

I visit the store regularly. I would just like to say a. big thank you to Declan of the fruit & vegetable section who went out of his way to be helpful to a friend & I. Nothing was too much trouble to him It was very much appreciated.

Pound trolleys what a nonsense in 2022, facial recording at the self pay very Orwellian but sour baked lady with the peroxide blonde hair at the customer service takes the biscuit, rudest member of staff I?ve ever encountered. Terrible attitude all the time and she doesn?t care if there?s a queue if one of her colleagues is paying for goods. Sure just have a wee yarn for 10 minutes sure it?s only my time your taking up. Bad vibe from a lot of staff members in this Asda can only think it comes from the management.
