Customer experience was really poor. Waiting 20min for someone to serve me when the shop was fairly quiet. I knew exactly what I wanted, front desk wouldn't assist, advised I had to wait for advisor in that dept. While waiting other sales staff I asked for help were uninterested and wouldn't assist. Id understand if it wasn't their knowledge area but all I wanted was someone to fetch the small product I wanted. Finally when the designated staff member did arrive they were uninterested and asked me if I knew the product was in stock.Overall really poor, unprofessional and what should have been a 5min max flow to fetch a product from the warehouse and being it to till took over half an hour.

Drove down into this Currys store during my break.Walked up to the counter and asked the man with the glasses I have questions about PC gaming. He said someone would be with me in a few minutes.I was pacing the front inside of the store for over 20 minutes.I finally had enough, went up to the counter and told the man with glasses I was leaving and was putting in a complaint. He tried to apologise as I was leaving the store but come on he must have seem me pacing the front of the counter looking frustrated for those over 20 minutes.I have read a few reviews of this store, It seems this store needs to up their standards.I don,t know whether it is Currys as a company or just this individual store that has me furious today. I remember shopping in Newtownabbey store and Staff there were great and the PC gaming products I got there were fantastic. I bought products and also had them installed into my gaming PC, so this store missed out on a lot of money from myself, I am definitely not returning to this store ever again. It is very small inside and it looked like it was missing a fair amount of products on shelves

Rude staff who sell you things you don't need. My 65-year old mum bought a TV from Currys before Christmas. The sales guy at the time upsold her some gold HDMI cables that cost $175, telling her she would need them upon installation. When the Curry's guy came round to install the new TV, he saw that she had perfectly good HDMI cables already. So yesterday, my mum went back to this Curry's to return the unnecessry cables and get her $175 back. The customer service rep who attended her tried a couple of times to insist that she did need the gold HDMI cables, saying that the other ones were likely to "rust". Nonsense. When my mum insisted she didn't need them and wanted her money back, the representative said "fine, have it your way". Shocking. He also asked my mum the name of the Curry's employee who came to install it and wrote it down on a piece of paper, presumably to reprimand him later for being honest with my mum about not needing the gold HDMI cables? Trying to take advantage of your customers, preying on seniors who don't know too much about technology for a cheap upsell opportunity is quite sickening. But then taking the names of your honest employees to go after them, when they show honesty and respect for your customers? Are these official Curry's company policies or is it just a few rotten apples at this one store? Seems like a toxic workplace. Will not be going shopping here again.

negative experience with this company. Absolutely not customer-oriented... ordered a new refrigerator for a new home. Everything was planned to receive it on time. As a result, we received a damaged refrigerator. There are two large stains on the front door. As soon as we discovered the stains, we contacted them for an exchange. Three days have passed, no news... In our new house, where we moved in, there is a damaged refrigerator that we cannot use and that is waiting for an exchange. Regarding the new refrigerator, no one can give information about when it will be... it's just some kind of horror and shame. No one apologized to us and how am I supposed to live without a refrigerator? how and where should I store products? will the company refund me for the damaged products, time and nerves?...no one bears any responsibility. we never received any information. three times we spoke on the phone about this situation and each time told everything from the beginning ... better stay away

I would have bought most of my electrical goods from currys, but I recently bought a tumble dryer that has broken down 3 times in the first few months. Currys customer service has been shockingly bad. This experience has really put me off using currys in the future.

Sky high prices, rock bottom service. They gave me a fair bit of cheek after spending a small fortune on a smart TV which didn't have all the features they claimed (this was fixed in a software patch) but that time they did, despite a fairly hostile attitude to me asking for an extension of their 30 day return policy to 60 days to see if the issue was patched out or not, by giving me a cheap amazon firestick. A lot of hostile attitude for nothing. This was about 2 years ago, so it's not like I'm a frequent thorn in their sides.NOTE: This will get long from here on in, I'll provide a summary at the bottom. The earlier this week my (old) keyboard started playing up, typing keys when no key was held down or jamming. So I went in to take a look & hopefully get a replacement. All of the display models were of the new optical style (pressing a key breaks a beam if light, instead of closing a switch) though none of them had a key press that felt 'right'. I've used a friend's mechanical keyboard before and the keys in it had both a tactile bump (letting you know you'd pressed the key) and a quiet click. This is what I was looking for. Found a keyboard in box with keys which were mechanical and apparently had these features according to the box. It was listed as out of stock/discontinued online, so probably the last one in the shop. Before dropping what their site said was £130 for a keyboard I made the simple request of asking if the alarm harness could be removed from the box and the box opened to see if the keys felt right. If you're dropping £130 on a keyboard you're going to want to have one which isn't uncomfortable to use. The box wasn't a "open and broken" type, just cardboard with a simple tab to pull out then the box opens from the top out and can be closed again with no damage to the packaging. If it had felt wrong (which I doubt it would have, given its description)On asking this fairly simple request at the front desk I got a flat "No, can't be done, can't open the box" and an odd look. So I asked about their returns policy, after all, if I'm paying over a hundred quid for something and typing tens of thousands of words on it, I expect it to be pleasant to use, so if it was unpleasant, which I would have known in less than ten seconds, I would return it in pristine condition.I get a rather aloof response of:"Can't return it if the box is opened if there's no fault with it"I could have opened the box after buying and if I didn't like the keyboard, just closed the box and returned it. There were no plastic seals. But I was done at this pointand told him I'd take my money elsewhere.I was messaging the friend who owns the keyboard I had really liked (he'd got it from there, which is why I tried) and he said he had an older mechanical keyboard. He dropped it off the next day for £30, while it's not quite what I want (no tactile keys or numpad) I can always buy the exact same keyboard he has (and I really like) for probably (a good bit) less than £100 on ebay, used.If you don't have an item on display and that item is expensive you should either open the box with a "break it you buy it" warning, have a returns policy that allows for returns of expensive items that do not meet customer satisfaction provided they're reboxed and in resellable condition. Additionally many computer shops such as curry's elsewhere (England and the US for example) will have on display a set of all the different different mechanical key types (one of each) on display, labelled so potential buyers know what said keys will feel like on the full sized model. Takes up about 1/2 the space of a keyboard and if they'd had that, they'd probably have gotten a sale.Summary/tl:dr-Looking to get new keyboard-See last unit in box, is secured using a wire harness, costs £130-Ask if the box can be opened (this is non-destructive) so I can get a feel for the keys-Get looked at like I'm

Called in last week to purchase an intergrated fridge freezer first of all I couldn't find an assistant then when I did he didn't even know where they were I had to show him . Then he didn't have a clue what an intergrated fridge freezer was . We just walked out . The ad they show on TV is a joke never again ?
