Danske Bank - Denmark's largest bank, pleads guilty to resolve money-laundering investigation. Danske Bank pleaded guilty to bank fraud and agreed to forfeit $2 billion as part of the settlement, the U.S. Department of Justice announced on Tuesday. Danske Bank laundered an estimated $236 billion of Russian dirty money via bank's foreign branches between 2008-2015. The money came from Russian mafia (including arms dealers linked to Kremlin) and was destined for Wall st banks as a final destination.

Friendly staff when you come in and ask for a service BUT they are not willing to help you eventually? Also they really don?t get what you ask them (I asked a specific document and I received a wrong one). I had an appointment with Joe, he was rude, not helpful at all, made a mistake at my address and he didn?t asked me if I want the e-banking codes so I have to wait 10 days now to receive them by post. That?s a really bad customer service. Thank you Joe?

Very poor customer service imo.To myself which I had to make a complaint about. Then family told me of another poor example.I tried to claim Interest back which was refused point blank. But I get random letters every 2 yrs about a "debt" I owe which I knew níl about.. Intend to complain yet again.

Danske Bank - computer says no!Reported a fraud, wish I hadn't. Saw unauthorized transaction on my debit card. Refused refund as "contactless cannot be cloned" and because there was another transaction after that so "I must have made the purchase". The lady on the phone suggested that someone stole my card then left it back in my wallet! Muppetry. This was something bought in a pub 40 minutes away. 1. I was at home 2. Never been there, 3 Card was in my wallet all the time. Ludicrous customer service. Computer says no. Hours on the phone to be treated like a child. Staffed by faulty robots. Thank god it was only £17, hate to imagine what would have happened if it was hundreds. Only bank here if you are in need of a laugh. Case with financial ombudsman now.

During the PPI scandal, i decided to try and get back the money that i paid on a load that i shouldn't have had to pay!...i went onto Danske web site, and was reassured, that "do not go to third party PPI companies, who will charge up to 30% of your money...come straight to Danske who will ensure that you get 100% of your money, so i did, all i was due was £750 and Danske bank fought me every inch of the way!...so i got the ombudsman involved, and they said, "well it's 50/50...it's your word against theirs"....i never got my £750 which was taken from me during paying back a loan...to hell with Danske bank!!

I have always had exceptional customer service at this branch and generally from Danske bank. While the opening hours are very restrictive, the staff who work at the bank more than make up for it - have always had a positive experience. Thank you!
