Fast efficient service

There was limited staff present and they were fully booked it appeared on the day. However it took nearly 40 minutes from my arrival to have one tyre replaced. It appeared overly long - although not the fault of the staff present who had to deal with incoming ad hoc arrivals as well as phone calls.

Partner went down on Saturday about some things that needed fixed on his car, he was told they couldn't do it that day but booked him in for 9am on Wednesday, of which he took the day off work for. When he arrived this morning he was met by the most hostile mechanic I've ever came across. My partner was told at the reception desk, by the mechanic, that he couldn't fix the problem. He asked who my partner spoke to and what did they look like when he booked it in, my partner told him and the mechanics response was "that's the manager and he hasn't got a clue, I'm the mechanic and I'm saying I can't fix it." He reiterated many times that he couldn't fix the problem, despite already being aware that my partners car was booked in as he knew about it when we arrived. We were told to leave the car and "he'd have a look at it, but can't fix it". An hour later, the mechanic phoned and said it would cost nearly £600 to fix the problem, my partner said it would be an issue with the cost and we were met with "right, fine, come get your car then." And the mechanic hung up the phone. I have never, ever, came across "customer service" like it and would advise anyone and everyone to avoid Kwik Fit on the Ormeau Road, unless you want berated. Absolutely disgusting service.
