Does not accept pay point to top up my electric. Simply refused to offer any help and the shop smells like death.

Very good snacks but they close when they?re meant to be open so I?m very disappointed. Tesco has cheaper snacks and they are consistent with closing times. The only reason I go to Russells at this point is to get the bread because sadly Tesco next to the Lanyon doesn?t have a good selection.

It closes before 10 where as it's written than it closes at 11 also staffs won't allow you inside after 9:50. It's very annoying when you say you are open till11.

Terrible experience in this shop . Once again I asked for £300 to be put on my Monzo card. The guy put in on in three different transactions each one a £100. So I had to pay £3 fee instead of £1 . I said this to them and was told it was because they can?t put £300 on at one time. Which I pointed out was not correct as I had put on £300 in the same shop yesterday. No apology and they would not give me the £2 back that I should of not been charged . Spoke to the manager Williams Adams and was told that it?s not their fault and nothing they could do about it. Nothing they could do about what a load of nonsense just refund me the £2 . I wish I just went to spar , lost £2 because of their incompetence and no apology. If they said before hand that they could not do it in one transaction I would of just went elsewhere

stop inflating the price of things because of the virus you should be ashamed of yourselves ripping people off instead of helping them

some staff there are really friendly but some staff (a guy with glasses) can't even say please nor thank you to a customer. Incredible customer service! This guy should be EDUCATED! 6 feb 3:45pm

Good convenience store with a wide range of groceries, alcohol and usually pretty nippy service. Pretty standard really.

I think Russell's is one of the best convenience shops in Belfast and this is largely due to the fact there's a very well stocked off license section instore selling a great range of wines, beers and ciders. Other than booze you'll find bread, olives, hummus, sandwiches, crips, nibbles, chocolates, snacks, some frozen and chilled foods plus magazines and newspapers in Russell's. A one stop shop for all your needs!

This place is a wee bit like PRINCE or the artist formerly know as Prince, bare with me here I have a reason for making this daft statement. Formerly known as Russells Cellars they've now dropped the Cellars as they want to appear more current and chart in the top 50 (that last bit was made up) - much like our old pal Prince did. See, told you that was going somewhere. Anyway, this morning I was undertaking some pre 9am arts and crafts and I needed a few bits of equipment (scissors and tape) so I popped in to Russells to grab them. At first I couldn't find what I was looking for but turns out they keep these items behind the counter. The diversity in stock sort of sums up Russells - they literally sell everything from wine to polly pockets - hear that students, they sell stationery, so stop asking your mates to borrow a pen in lectures and go buy some here. Price wise it's pretty good value, this is because it competes with The Centra a few doors down but the major difference is that it sells booze. All in all a good 'jack of all trades' convenience store. Good name change too, I think it works.
