This place should be shut down it's a drug den that the staff treat people badly, and I'm sure they don't tell you that if you get a job and get on your feet you've to pay 960 pound a months they also charge you for snooker, tea, and refreshments, that says clearly on the side do not separate if your planning to help someone to stay in this dump please don't because they are coming back out as a junky they also throw people out on the street on a daily bases with nowhere to stay, this place is not the work of God it's the work of the devil

I'm a ex resident & now a staff member. The place is great, single rooms for homeless men, a gym, WIFI, games room with snooker, pool, darts, table tennis, a canteen and a cafe. There's also a Night-shelter for those still not in hostel accommodation yet.

The staff where great when i was a resident and all the current staff are a great support for people with addictions, health issues, and getting people into their own accommodation.
One of the best homeless hostels around and always improving.

The Salvation Army are a committed well organised dedicated professional body of people doing the best they can in a world that is broken and verging on hopelessness. They can be trusted to put you before themselves even if it doesn't look that way. You can be assured that they have your best interests at heart.
