Nice place, great view. Pretty big for a SPAR. But the slushies are absolutely disgusting. Me and my friend went there, just today for a walk and we decided to get a slushy. Why not? But... the mango one was horrible. Wouldn't recommend.

I'm seeing a few bad reviews about this place. I thought that it was a good shop, it's not the biggest but they have got plenty in there. Including breakfast and lunch items at the food counter, there are coffee and slush machines, as well as a Post Office counter. They also have a good selection of household items and alcohol. The items are expensive compared to other shops and I wouldn't like to do my weekly shop there, but if you're just visiting Belfast and staying in the nearby Premier Inn like me and my girlfriend were, then this place is a god send!

This is a great shop with a massive choice of stuff. Large wines and spirits section with some quality reds. Deli counter with plenty of healthy snacks to choose from. Quality coffee available. Slushie machines. Plus all the stuff you'd expect to find. Staff are hard-working and very quick to respond. Belfast really is a great city to visit

The selection is very strange as they don't have some very common items, yet, they have things, you wouldn't normally expect, and they very quickly and very constantly take out the few items you love, and no one on the floor can help you, as they obviously don't know what's going on themselves with the items. They keep telling you it's been ordered, but oh strange, it's not here this week. They tell you that for months. Not blaming them for staying optimistic, but wanted to point that out.Another example are the donuts (probably other things like that as well), which are very old sometimes, sure, still edible, but they are still up for full price. 1.75 for 5 little donuts... And if you're unlucky, they are some days old and not fluffy any more yet still 1 pounds 75 pence. I am not sure how long they stay, but my guess is, at least 3 days or so.And speaking of 1.75 for 5 little donuts, it's not the only thing that is unreasonably expensive. It's everything in this store.Staff seems bored at times, but they do their jobs and keep the shelves filled, help at the self checkouts and are happy to give advice when asked. The only reason why I give it 2 stars instead of one. There is nothing else on this side of the river, and that's maybe why they get away with it the prices, old bakerd goods and shrinking selection. But across the bridge, you have plenty of options. Lidl, tesco and other smaller shops, all just up the high street. So if you don't mind walking 10-15 minutes for better prices, that's what I recommend you to do, and that's what I am doing from now on.

So awful store, dirty at the entrance and inside. Poor hygiene, No consideration for customers only cold ?? drink in fridgeAt mid-day you have to wait 10 to 20 minutes. For less quality and expensive food.

Best fry in the area and the staff are all so nice. Sodas and Pancakes come from French Village so you are getting lovely stuff and they don't cut the sodas into quarters like some places.

Just had the Green Deli Tuna Pasta salad and the Pesto & Sundried Tomato Pasta salad. Both salads were bland and dry. Basically just plain pasta for £3.50 each. Complete ripoff under the guise of a deli.

£5 for a chicken and bacon sandwich that is £4 anywhere else is a rip off. Way overpriced.

This Spa is much bigger in the inside than we thought, has a good range of food, wines & beers

Something needs to be done about the post office. Constantly closed early, staff take 5-10 mins to even get to the til while they speak over their headsets about god knows what. The post office should be manned at all times while open.

Honestly the most exciting spar I've visited. It has many peculiar items such as Japanese drinks and a lovely deli (the green deli), the service was great aswell as there were a number of self service checkouts. The shop even has a seating area for you to stop and take in the somewhat overwhelming amount of strange goods. I personally had an apple drink (a very nice apple drink at that) as well as a sandwich which contained pastrami, sauerkraut (which I've never had before and would probably never have on its own as it was strange to say the least) and cheese (Emmenthal to be precise and let me tell you the experience was very Emmenthal ?). All in all thos was a wonderful spar that I'd be happy to visit again.

Overall, very expensive and would only use for *convenience* for the apartments above the store.
