Fewer STAFF, higher prices, male management kicking rubbish under the shelving units in front of customers and a ongoing store refurbishment is leaving many once faithful customers to wonder why they are still going to tesco ballygomartin. with the opening of mc donalds the car park is even more disgusting, rubbish from it just dropped out of cars onto the car park, with live rats walking around in broad daylight. There's less management now to deal with problems on the shop floor, once there were 12 or so department managers, 2 assistintment managers and a store manager. but now nov 2023 I believe there's perhaps 5-7 in total. staff on the sick a pressured to return to work. my experience and advice is if your not happy email head office as I've seen staff rip up a written complaint form a customer. Head office is your go to place to complain about anything. without the alcohol sales tesco ballygomartin would close.

If you are a regular to this store, you will notice management or the God's from above have decided to upgrade and move every single product in this store.Pathetic, that's all I can say and I'm not the only one. Tesco your customers are running round your store trying to find products which they once were able to find, not now. Whoever redesigned your store has not got a clue. You would think biscuits and bread would be in one isle, oh no, these products are placed all over the store. Get your act together Tesco and get these products in there rightful place, until then you have lost a customer.

Used to be an ok store but is now a total effing mess.A recent rearrangement of the aisles means that perfectly ideal straight aisles have been staggered, one aisle is as wide as Ballygomartin Road, another is like a backstreet alleyway wide enough for only one trolley. The products have been moved to different shelves again (why do they do this?). You have to spend more time in the place looking for what you need. Don't they realise that this infuriates their customers? One thing that hasn't changed though is there are still only 2 checkouts open in the morning despite queues building up back into the aisles...staff standing around talking, one grunted and shrugged her shoulders when I asked if another checkout could be opened. Some staff are helpful though.Trollies scattered around the car park bumping into cars on windy daysAnd Tesco is well up there with the oil companies profiteering from the war in Ukraine.Wish there was an Asda closer to home

Extremely arrogant franchise is Tesco, and Ballygomartin is sadly no different. Wanted to check for an item in stock at the supermarket, but was told over the phone by a robot that they don't do stock checks over the phone, and that an app is available to download for that kind of service. Being able to contact and speak to a human being to carry out a simple stock check should be an essential part of their customer service, seems nowadays they want the customer to do everything, including scanning their own groceries in store. Everything is automated for the big boys and girls at the top to earn more money for their fat pockets. Won't spend another penny in Tesco, time to look after our small local businesses, who actually serve with a smile and are human about it.

My 27 year old wife was just refused purchase of a bottle of 0% alcohol because she apparently "didn't look over 25". Never heard of something so ridiculous in my life. Seems like the staff could do with a bit more training on common sense

Some of the staff can be very rude at times & really shouldn?t be dealing with the public.. service with a frown.. most of the staff spend there time laughing & talking to one another. It?s an absolute joke? Customer services at Tesco. a good job for someone who hates people apply now

Great retailer to buy groceries. Club members get discounts as well as quantity purchases, buy four and get the fifth one free. Club members have access to scanners to scan products.

Went to check out and the employee on the till was throwing our stuff. I normally don't care but the stuff was getting some air so I said "can you stop throwing our food" and he looked at me, smiles and threw another one of our items. Rude!!

The WKD Blue Bottles for 3 pound DO NOT taste the same as the other bottles that are sold in local winelodges near by. The BLUE WKD bottles that are being sold by Ballygomartin Tesco have a funny taste and smell. It's disgusting and they've been selling these for a long time now. Please investigate this issue or ill not be shopping here again!

Place is always extremely understaffed and waiting ages in queues no matter the time of day is ridiculous. Feel sorry for the wee fella Rhys and the girl Liz who always greet me at self service, the amount of abuse I have overheard them receive from other customers is ridiculous and never a manager to be seen.
