The food was okay although expensive for what we got, unfortunately, the service was hectic. The restaurant was empty (6pm on a Thurs evening late night shopping in belfast ) and told us to come back once we could get an online booking as they could only seat us then. When we came back with our booking after an hour wait they hesitantly took and and looked at their phone and pointed out we were ten minutes early , again the restaurant was still empty. I don't understand this business model. It's hard enough for small business to work in Belfast, why drive business away.

I miss the way it used to be :(It was far better with the QR codes and when you could have your stuff come to u on the belts. Now it's all random stuff they have on the belts that ppl can just lift? Also I miss the pancakes ?. The food is still decent. Bit expensive. Also would like the option to pay by cash but its cards only. Think they are stuck in COVID times.

We came in, 6 for lunch. Not possible on site, although there were several empty tables?Ok, we take away. 20 minutes wait. Ok, but only 2 persons were working. All the boys were chatting? food finally arrives, upside down in the bag ????????The food look so terribly presented, rolls were thinner than pencils?Never saw such a mess in a restaurant.Ps : your bathroom area is destroy. Hope you take care of your sushi more than your bathroom?Too bad, Yo Sushi was my first ever sushi experience on top of the Harvey Nichols in London 30 years ago.

Have visited YoSushi several times in the past pre Covid. I understand that hospitality has taken a real beating since then. We both love Asian style food but a self styled Japanese restaurant with no ramen, no pan fried dumplings considering there are many other venues in Belfast , one even in the same complex has said items on a daily basis. I also think that QR menu ordering while it may be ?hip? is somewhat akin to ? self checkout ?. Surely person to server is much more amiable and lends to a pleasant and more meaningful experience. Food that was on the menu which we had was fine but absence of two of our favourites cooled the appetite. Sorry but disappointed.

I didn?t get round to eating here so I can?t rate the food (put 5 stars as a default; it all looked yummy) but as soon as we walked in the service was abysmal. We were left stood around waiting for a while before a server took us to our table as no staff seemed to be around. They didn?t accept a gift card as form of payment (even though it says online that we can spend it here) and I feel like we were met with attitude after asking that. Menu was very dirty and had sauce and remnants of a salad all over it. Again was left waiting for a while with no service before we decided to leave. Note to restaurant- if you don?t accept a form of payment, let the third party know so they can take you off your list of participants. Food looked banging though (and lots of vegan options (yes I?m than whiny vegetable eater)), I?ll go to another restaurant to try- hopefully they?ll have cleaner menus xoxox I?m so salty jesus

The concept of the restaurant is cool with the little plates on the conveyor belt to get you to try something different but there aren't any indications about what is on them so when we got a strange one with omelette in it (I think????) we were very disappointed as it wasnt very good. There were only 3 super teriyaki gyozas that were kind of tasteless. The seaweed salad was average. The 2 way chicken sushi rolls (I think that's their name) were a bit spicy (even though i love spicy food) and once again didn't have much taste and didn't taste very fresh plus we had ordered 8 and were only served 4 so we had to ask after 10 minutes for the rest however the staff did apologise and were very nice. We were disappointed that we were not offered any of the sushi restaurant staples such as ginger or wasabi and there wasn't any sweet soja sauce.

I wish I could rate it higher, but there are some things that make it less of an experience than it used to be.I don?t quite know what?s happened here but it feels like they have lost interest in the place, it?s all a bit grubby and the menu not as extensive as it once was. It?s like they are stuck in covid times! The take away fridge is always 90% empty. I miss the conveyor full of dishes to help yourself? now its used to simply bring your order to your table where it stops and a light turns green.You?ve also got to order using your tables QR code which takes you to a webpage to select items, compile your order and pay online. I find I need to place 3 orders each visit and it would just be a nicer experience to ask a human or lift the dishes you want from the conveyor.On a more positive note food is mostly good when it arrives and tends to come pretty quickly. My kids often eat their own weight in salmon maki.It?s easy to spend £90+ for lunch for 4 people which feels quite expensive, we keep going back though! If only they?d de-clutter, stop parking a bike in front of the till and give the place a good clean it would help!

My first Yo! experience & I?m unsure if I?d return? firstly I was dining solo & got seated right by the door - not necessarily bad but would?ve liked to have sat further into the restaurant.I ordered my food using the QR code which was nice but felt a bit impersonal. Process was quick from order to receiving my food.Staff were loud & rather inattentive. The waiter who led me to my seat didn?t let me sit down before he started on his intro - I noticed this happened with another party. This waiter however was pleasant & accommodating while he was with me.I found it odd that one of the chefs greeted people at the door but then would gesture to the sign to stand & wait for a table & summoned one of the wait staff? not sure what the intent behind this interaction was.Would not recommend the crunchy prawn sushi - no crunch to it. Although the crunchy California rolls were lovely.

When you spend £40 you definitely don?t expect to have you order arrive with a black and burnt veggie burger, 2 dirty fries that genuinely tasted dirty and one that was supposed to have bacon, have a few specs of bacon. I think it?s absolutely appalling that business cry poverty yet they can?t even get the basics right. Fed up of getting poor quality grub given to us and expected to pay for it. To the owners - you need to get your staff sorted as you?re losing business from stuff like this.

Very slow service, tables were all left dirty and no one was in a rush to clean them. We waited 10 mins to be seated despite the restaurant being less than half full. I will not be rushing back here in a hurry.

Food was good, service was quick. The ambience is the same as any Yo! restaurant.If you have never been to on of the restaurants please be aware the portion sizes are smaller than expected so might seem a bit over priced.Overall good food, good experience.Vegetarian options: They have a good array of veg options. But unfortunately were out of quite a few of them. This is around 7pm so not near the end of the night.

Service was really slow. We waited 10 minutes to be seated, and it was really quiet there, right under the air con. It was raining all day that day and was quite chilly already. I couldn't understand why they turned on the air con. We asked the waitress if she could do somethinf about that, which she said okay and then left without letting us know what she was gonna do. Only when we asked to move to a different table did she clean the one next to ours and let us sit there. Food was average but the portion was SUPER small. We ordered a korean chicken bowl which had nothing but rice and some chicken pieces. Not even a single piece of veg or decoration. I wouldn't even pay 5 pounds for that tiny bowl, let alone 12 pounds. Worst Japanese restaurant I've ever been to. Very disappponted.
