Food takes a while to be served and it's pretty good. The service is nice, but the ambiance isn't. The water is cool but always spills some how, lol. However, the bathrooms are cool.

Have been when in Derry on many visits but tonight was very disappointing! Will doubt if we will ever be back, prices have skyrocketed despite 30% off bill! £23.95 for main course, when all it was was a chilli chicken pita pocket & chip! Shocking! Used to be really good food, great service and friendly atmosphere, not any more, used to be one of the heighlights of our visits, and have recommend it to so many, not any more ?

Nice food. Very tasty. The portion was not that big, tho. Quite expensive. You should book before going, we waited a bit to get a table. Also, when you order a main dish, you don?t know what exactly in it, so hard to order a sider without exactly knowing the main dish, so you?d better ask. My Celiac friend had LOTS OF options!!!! She was so happy. Yet, no gluten-free beer unfortunately. :( Yet, many gluten-free dishes.Dietary restrictions: Celiac people-friendly / gluten-free options

I spent valentines day here. Amazing service and delicious food! It?s really good value for money. The lamb shank was fantastic with a Guinness. Loved

Food and service outstanding. They do 50% off on a Monday and Tuesday night.Chyeanne and the other waitress who served us were really good at their job.Personalities were shining.

Really friendly staff and great atmosphere. Chicken escalope, however, was served with, what looked like, burnt crisps - recommend you change this garnish to champ. Also, pricing confusing with having to work out 30% menu price, although quite good value.

Delicious food and great service! My husband loved so much we made a one hour trip to revisit and dine a since time during our 7 day North Ireland tour. Kids loved the mushroom and chicken soup and the kids meal chicken sandwhich. Husband ate the steak, and the steak sandwhich the second time. I was very pleased with both of the burgers and the chicken carbonara. The decor and ambiance also gets 5 stars. The prices were very reasonable!

Used to go here a lot when I was younger. With my mom to treat her maybe once or twice a week minimum for years.Amazing place great food and wine then.I haven't been home for some time. I thought I'd show my wife of 15 yrs where me and my mother used to dine because food was fantastic. I've dined here within those 15 years.. been great.I Arrived as a walk in table asking for a table of 2..My wife was on phone outside..Lady host said no problem not busy lots of free tables.. and pointed to an unreserved table..It was a quiet day, quiet empty late afternoon not busy at all..When my wife came through the door.. host immediately said sorry we're full and instructed us to leave.. I asked why.. she just said sorry we're full and said we can go to a place called ankor something just over the bridge.We were dressed well and formal and given no reason to leave even tho offered a table previously..Ok. We weren't welcome.. that seemed clear..But as someone who has worked in hospitality as a host/bartender/waiter... now head chef. I won't argue.. if u ask us to leave. We will leave if that's your wish. That's your business and your decision.Strange behaviour..Maybe because my wife was Asian I don't know nor will understand the reason when was empty and promised a table until she came in.I never intend to play such a race card but at that moment it seems it was the case since the issue only happened when my wife showed her face.. and we were quickly ushered out of the premise.. and door was shut behind us..Embarrassing but we got over it.Massive shame and embarrassment for us I was so happy to try to dine here againI hope such staff that dealt with us doesn't have the same ideals as the rest of the staff.We can all have bad days. I get it.. but this situation is never acceptable.Would give 5 stars for food but never got to try it. So Gave 4.May try to visit again in near future.. but not sure if worth the hassle.

Went to Fitzroys on the second night of our 2 night stay, pleasant ambiance about this little restraunt and very comfortable. The menu had plenty to choose from and we both found something that we could enjoy. Both happy with our selections and also with the the service provided by staff. The bonus was there was an offer on 30% off all food and drink orders, so when this was taken into consideration the overall cost was very reasonable, which to be fair did encourage us to leave a large tip. Overall good experience and within walking distance of our hotel.
