Not the worst pharmacy, but they really need to educate their male pharmacist that women buy over the counter period pain relief because a gp does not issue a script for it and ibuprofen and paracetamol doesn't always work, so sometimes women step it up a notch and use co-codamol.... And mansplaining to a woman, that due to it being for regular pain, the over the counter pain tablet should be issued by a gp.... You'd think a pharmacist would know that women bleed once a month, we get period pain once a month..... When we want pain tablets for that, we are not crack Kelly who's developing a habit from using a tablet for maybe 2 or 3 days a month because, (un) fortunately our bodies are designed to grow a whole human in it and then painfully pushing it out of us, and in the years leading up to that phenomenal occasion, our uterus puts us through excruciating pain regularly, almost like we get monthly pain training to build that threshold up for the big push one day..... If don't understand this, please let you female colleagues deal with it instead .... The lovely female at your Bedlington branch didn't even question it, and we had a good giggle about the above mansplaining event.....you'd think I was trying to buy heroin for a headache

This branch of Boots might be small but the service is mighty! The Pharmacist Daniela goes above and beyond the call of duty to help her customers and can always be relied upon for her advice and understanding. In my experience all the assistants are incredibly kind and friendly and their service is caring and welcoming. By far the best pharmacy in the area!

Visited yesterday with my daughter. Waited a while for it to open after lunch and again in a queue due to present circumstances. I entered the shop with her as we didn't see any sign to say otherwise. I was asked to get out by a rather abrupt unfriendly assistant who would benefit from lessons on how to deal with customers. We didn't realise only one person was allowed in at the same time even if you were together .The times I have visited with my daughter she either has to wait quite a while or she has to go back as they haven't got the medicationWouldn't recommend

Nothing to like about it I'm afraid. The pharmacy is useless. You give them a prescription to fill, you go back to collect meds a coiuole of days later only to be told they haven't filled it yet and some of the meds are out of stock and their manufacturer has a problem so they can't get your meds four up to three weeks. They didn't have the sense to let me know immediately so I could have gone elsewhere or informed my gp so an alternative med coiyld be sought. This isn't just a one off event, this is happening all the time. This pharmacy needs a major overhaul in practice and customer service as they are clueless. My advice is not to wastre your time head over to Newline at west sleekburn. You won't have a problem there.

too slow at everything!! it's like watching something in slow motion. Maybe less standing talking in the back and more work would make things happen more quickly!!
