Staff are amazing really helpful and knowledgeable and friendly, shop was well Stocked and well laid out, really good parking and access with great access for disabled shoppers. Plus they really do support their local Community.

Since the store was redesigned to have really long aisles that take up the length of the shop, it's just exhausting to shop there, it's purely designed to make people walk past more products and no longer easy to just pop in and out quickly. And now it's focused on mainly self service machines (which don't seem to recognise anything lightweight) the ONE person who's usually at the kiosk has to man and serve at the kiosk plus deal with the incessant flashing red 'unexpected item' light at the self serve machines. So popping in for a pint of milk and a loaf of bread now, consists of a 3 mile trek and a 15 minute wait - most people pop in for beers / wine so each person needs to be verified, THEN wait for the person at the kiosk not to have any customers (which is rare). The two stars are for the decent range of products and the click and collect function for John Lewis.

Prices are very expensive (I know things are generally increasing in price but it's still more expensive than the competition). I only shop at co-op food if I really have to. The store looks nice and is well presented though and most staff seem friendly.

Popped in while passing through the area. Not a lot of variety to choose from in certain products and very overpriced and expensive compared to other supermarkets

Its very expensive but nice range of groceries. Some staff are pretty stuck up but some are nice. I use 3 co op stores and the staff in the other 2 branches are lovely - feel like the few bad staff in here bring the company down. Especially the woman who judges how much money you have by the clothes you wear (ikr...)

Store was in the process of being refitted when I visited but what a great store and in the centre of the town. Message for Co-op regional manager please can we have a larger Co-op in North Tyneside it's a bit of a trek to get to Prudhoe.

Normal for Coop. Zombies for staff - they look at you with a blank, glazed expression and do not seem able to engage. I always think the same when I visit a Co-op store wherever, would the Co-op be missed if it was not there? Perhaps the car park would be missed.

Some staff are costumers friendly others are are rude unhelpful and don't want to be there poor customer service. Aldi now open

Car park with cash machine just outside of store. Mobile phones don't work in store but there is free WiFi if you want to price check online etc. Friendly staff and good choice of products available for size of store.

The co-op has been around for years selling good quality goods and this store is no exception.fresh fruit,fresh baked bread a good meat counter they give a good service.I will shop there again Iam sure of that

Overrated shop very poor choice can get same shopping elseway at half the price you pay here no deli,fresh butchers very expensive on a lot of stock staff not helpful always look misarble won't be going here again in a hurry
