“Our local Post Office doesn’t get half the credit they deserve. I’m a local business owner and sometimes we have to deal with cash transactions, every time I tried going to my local bank they were either closed for the day or only worked half days. The ladies at the Post Office helped me when I either needed to make a cash deposit or withdrawal and I’m always served with a smile and a question about how the business is going. More recently, I moved house and forgot to update my V5 for road tax. Panicking as usual, first chance I got I went up to the Post Office and they not only helped me fill in a new form but managed to sort my car tax out for me as well, calmed me down and explained everything I needed to know for future reference, again asking how the business was going and being served with a smile as always! I’ll never go back to dealing with cash at the bank - use your local Post Office! Face to face service will never go out of fashion ?”
