Never anyone on till EVER and staff are so rude not all of them!! Manners cost absolutely nothing obviously a couple of staff haven't got any. Honestly the rudest staff I've ever came across and that is the truth. I will continue to be polite tho moral high ground and what have you.

Half of my visits involve standing waiting for 5 minutes at an empty checkout, then walking back around the shop to look for a cashier to serve me. Very frustrating

Good little convenience store for all the essential items, clean and well stocked. Offers are usually good.

Usually I am very happy shopping at this shop, it is very convinient and has everything I need. At the moment they are asking customers to vote for 'How they are Doing', last night I felt the checkout girl was going over the top as while she was serving me she was talking to the customer behind, she did not put my loaf of bread through the till....the one thing I really went in for and did not notice until this morning. I wanted to put my lottery on, I have a ready printed card which I was holding, she produced a lucky dip, which I did not ask for, but no worries it could be voided, but when looking at my receipt this morning to see if i had paid for bread (I hadnt) I have paid £2 for a lottery ticket which has gone in the bin.I do feel she should have concentrated more on the job in hand not what she was going to do next. I do think she wants customers to vote that they are the best, but slow down and do what you usually do and you will get votes.

Handy convenience store in centre of Wylam. Bread, milk, fresh fruit and vegetables as well as a wide range of tinned as dry goods. No parking as such and not many other features but fine for a quick visit for daily essentials.
