Today was our first visit after walking along the riverside with our dog. Staff were very friendly and sorted us a table really quickly. My chicken cesear salad was so fresh and tasty and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his bacon sarnie. What a fabulous little coffee shop, thank you for making us so welcome on an awful wet miserable day!

Called in for coffee and tried to order at the counter.we were told to take a seat as it was table service. After 20mins nobody had come to take our order so went to counter again and allowed to order. 20 mins later still no coffee delivered so asked them to cancel the order and we left. Please find a way to organise service in a more efficient way.

We are always looking for new dog friendly venues where we can enjoy a nice walk followed by great coffee and a bit le to eat.We certainly enjoyed our jacket potatoes with a lovely cappuccino. Just a shame about the weather.Poppy was welcomed and even given her own little biscuit treat from the staff. We certainly plan to return

To judge by this morning, standards have slipped badly. Coffee really terrible. I remember it being very fine always in the past - I should have complained but didn?t! ?

If you are vacationing in Northumberland, travelling through or just want a trip to the country, Wylam is well worth a visit. Historically it is the home of George Stephenson, inventor and pioneer of steam locomotion. Once you're hungry for excellent home cooked food, visit the Coffee Tree, located on Main Street just around the corner from the church. I had need for somewhere to post up while my vehicle was at the mechanic. Jenny and her team were amazing. They plied me with freshly ground coffee, the mini breakfast and a just-out-of-the-oven fruit scone, for which I was given loads of butter. The WiFi connection is excellent and I occupied a table for almost 4 hours. From the outside the eatery looks tiny, but don't be fooled, the main room has a large capacity and there's another room at the side that can take many more. The atmosphere is fabulous; constant laughter, clinking of coffee cups and cutlery and many a happy dog passed through while I was there. I rarely write reviews but this one was a must. Thank you Coffee Tree, I am looking for reason to come again.

I booked lunch at the Coffee Tree in Wylam for my wife and I, plus my Sister in Law and both Brothers in Law. As we arrived, we thought someone was sitting at the table we had booked - there was - my Daughter and Son in law who had driven down from Glasgow to join us as a surprise. Sam, the Chef, had made my favourite quiche (Caramelised Onion & Mushroom) and for dessert - Lemon Cheesecake with a candle on my slice. (Mmmmm).A big "Thank You" to Sam and the Staff at the Coffee Tree for helping to make it a day to remember.Vegetarian options: Good choice
