“Our nightmare finally solved!!! We tried phoning the Halifax helpline on three occasions in order to make an appointment at the Arnold branch. We wasted nearly 3 hours on the phone getting conflicting advice and finally having it confirmed that customers no longer able to call their branch directly even though branch telephone numbers are still easy enough to find on the Internet. In desperation we went to the Arnold branch and managed to persuade them to give us an interview. Rachel one of their service advisors actually gave up her lunch in order to help us, such a generous thing to do. From then on it was all sweetness and light we were treated really really well and all of our banking problems resolved on the spot.I cannot speak highly enough about this branch and its customer relations they are beyond reproach, in direct opposition to our experience with their national helpdesk which I am afraid is a total waste of everyone’s time”
