DO NOT TRUST GHOST MOTS HAPPEN HERE. Had a mot from Halford in Arnold failed my can on emissions and give me 7 advisories with all in all would of cost me £2700 told me the emissions was the injectors so I took my car to another garage same week and passed with flying colours nothing wrong with the emissions at all and only 2 advisories not 7. Halford has been done in the past for ghost mots so I advise any one who what to to take there car to Halford stay well clear unless you want ripping of DO NOT TRUST

Honestly one of the smoothest motoring transactions of my life. The team were fantastic - warm, pleasant and prompt. The MOT was even completed in around 20 minutes. Drop off and collection was seamless and the price was extremely fair.

Despite booking my car in and explaining the problem in detail and doubled checking that they could deal with hybrids, took it in on the day and told by manager that they don't and can't touch EV or hybrids!!

They were having a bad day with some mechanics off, still got my car done and even refunded .me for the tracking I'd paid for but found wasn't needed...they could quite easily have charged and I would've been non the wiser

Not to be trusted. They failed my car MOT on all 4 break pipes, claiming they were damaged and wanting to charge me £400+ to repair them Had they bothered checking the breaks properly they would have seen that it was the plastic outer coating that had signs of wear and the inner pipe was intact steel. Took the car for a full re check to a proper garage and it passed, brakes fine.How can you claim to perform an mot when you don?t even check the brakes properly.Would like a refund- - I will never go near them again.

Worst service in the UK.rude and unproffesional people....they have no clue what the customer service is.Went in for an interim service at 8 30 am.....they called me after 3 30 pm to let me know they won t be able to do the service because some ridicoulos reasons.I paid everything in advance....i wish i could speak to a manager ,they need to sort out that place .Service: General repairs & maintenance

Popped down today asked very polite to have a bulb fitted...I could see 4 fitters stood in back ground and only to cars on ramp not having any work done. The manager basically said he s waiting on parts for those cars to come in....he then said I can't do your bulb till next Tuesday. ( sent away no bulb fitted had to drive 5 miles away . Wot has happened to local services ?

Very disappointed with Halfords,overcharged me when I had a service and mot,keep asking for a refund,I've had two apologies and we will make sure you get the refund,but still no refund.could it be because I'm female, and they don't feel it's too important?.
