I pre booked my appointment with the team yesterday to get my front dipped headlight changed. I arrived shortly before my appointment and the we fit team were still working on the previous car. It took over 20 minutes to actually start any work on our car and at this point a young cashier started the work. He very clearly wasn?t confident in what he was doing and the older gentleman offered little to no help. When the previous customer was finished rather than moving over to complete the work on my car which needed doing he proceeded to work on another vehicle. The 15 minute appointment as advertised took over 1 hour 15 stood in the freezing cold at which point the bulb was successfully fitted. I can?t say a bad word about the young man who did the bulb change how get the whole process was awful.I would think twice before booking in with this team.

Bought a trolly jack kit and with a discount code it was a good buy. However staff were very unprofessional slating another staff member and swearing. Put the heavy box on the counter and said there you go mate as I looked at the box stating 2 man lift then carried on chatting to his colleague.Poor service

I went in to get a rear break light bulb changed was told leave it with us 20 30 mins. So I went back after 45 mins giving a little extra time. Guy on till didn't know what was going on said just take car as he didn't know what I was paying for. Got to my car nothing done. Goes back in oh my colleague said we don't have your bulb. Shocking service not even an apology. Afternoon wasted. I then had to drive round trying to get beak light done. Fuming.

Last week I took one of my bikes for a Health Check - main problem was noisy disc brakes and derailleur adjustment. They did both quickly. I took the bike out but the gears needed another tweek. They did it immediately and without any problems. It was then brilliant. So I took my other bike (similar mbike Cube) for just the gears. Drew (again) checked it over and immediately realised the chain was on incorrectly (straight from the manufacturers!) he fixed it and we had a couple of goes to get the gears set. Absolutely brilliant. All done and fantastic. This chap (and the other one who's name I didn't get) are brilliant. So considerate and great on customer service. They know their stuff and I highly recommend them. Thank you very much.

Needed wiper blades got the correct one within minutes and not that expensive either fitting service 5 pounds I didn't need the service but its good especially if your not capable or if its a head lamp and difficult to fit

I?ve had two bikes from the place one being the green carrera vengeance and the other being the blue carrera Vulcan had the vengeance as a Christmas gift and I had to spend a lot of money on that bike as everything just went wrong and so I got rid of it then i spend 5 months saving up £435 for the Vulcan but I?ve had problems of that such as the back wheels spokes coming dead lose and a broken frount break calliper but now and they fixed if for free but then a bout 1-2 months of it getting fixed I have now power in the back break and also the back wheel is also had it. So it?s made me feel like they have taken advantage of a 16 year old that worked for all of that money him self for a bike that isn?t breaking I would understand if I was wheelieing it or putting it under any heavy rideing I?m very disappointed to have to do this but the bikes may look nice but you will get expensive problems from it.

I cannot fault the service that I received today at Halfords Chilwell. I joined the V.I.P. club and received a check on my car. Which passed. The assistant was more than helpful.

Half the things I needed which came up on the Halfords little screen they have in store against the parts I needed for my car Halfords didn?t even have.Halfords isn?t a place to go for car parts any more.
